REACH
NEAR HIGHGARDEN
ROBB STARK
"Your grace, it's great to see you once again!" Randyll Tarly thanked, bowing humbly "You saved the battle with your timely arrival!".
It has been half an hour since the battle had ended, and Robb, escorted by his Kingsguard, decided to meet the man who defended The Reach, to praise him for his efforts.
By now the sun had almost set, only the last flicker of Sunlight remained, bathing the blood-soaked battlefield with the beauty of twilight.
"It's an honour to finally meet you, My King" Randyll's Son, Dickon if he remembered correctly, exclaimed in happiness and admiration "I hope your journey was well and pleasent!".
Ser Rober snorted beside him, while Robb bit the inside of his cheek, to stop himself from laughing out loud. Looks like he got himself an admirer!!
"I wouldn't call a journey of hundreds of miles within a week, with an army behind your back, pleasant!!" Robb smiled in amusement, causing Dickon to flush in embarrassment.
"I..am..sor-ry to as..assume..that!" Dickon stuttered in embarrassment, causing Rober to snort in amusement while Robb chuckled, climbing down from the saddle of his horse.
"Don't worry!" Robb began, slowly walking towards Lord Tarly's youngest son, "The journey may not be pleasant, but all becomes fair, to meet the brave warriors of Reach!"
With that he hugged Dickon, causing the Heir To Horn Hill to stiffen in shock, at being hugged by his King in such a friendly manner.
"Thank you for defending The Reach!" Robb said softly, as he realised Dickon from the hug, but not before giving him a pat on his back.
"It's my duty, Your Grace!" Dickson said in a slightly dazed voice.
"That maybe be true, but it doesn't diminish what you and your father did!" Robb said, before giving Lord Randyll a nod of respect and acknowledgement.
Randyll, who was looking at the interaction between his Son and his King in amusement, nodded back in return.
"Your Grace, My Army's camp is just beyond the hill. It has enough space to accommodate your men too!!" Randyll offered "We should all freshen up!!".
"You are right Lord Tarly! The men needs rest" Robb accepted the offer graciously "But we will be having a war council meeting after two hours, to take stock of the current situation of the war!!".
Randyll nodded, as he began to led his King and his men towards the camp. Robb looked around to see his faithful Direwolf, Grey Wind, feasting on a dead Essosi Horse, while his cousin, Wulfric, who was standing just a few metres away form the Direwolf, was examining
at a Dothraki Whip, which he had scavenged from the field."Hey Cousin!" Robb shouted, stopping his Horse, "What are you doing?".
Wulfric looked at him, and grinned before showing his new weapon.
"Look at this, My King. A Dothraki Whip!!" Wulfric crowed in joy "I always wanted one!!".
Dickon flinched, touching the cut on his cheek, which was courtesy of a Dothraki Whip attack. He was lucky that he was wearing a helmet, because the attack nearly costed him his eye.
Robb just shook his head in amusement at his Cousin's childish antics, before saying "You should come with us to the camp and take some rest. We will be having a War Council meeting within two hours".
