The News and Finding Bucky

Marissa was in a hotel with Sam as she watched the news thinking as she kept from playing with the necklace Bucky sent her. "How are you holding up?" Sam asked her nicely. 

"Better then I normally would handle someone's death thanks." She answered with a soft smile looking over at him. 

"I know we haven't known each other like you known Steve but I'm here if you ever need me Marissa." Sam assured her as she smiled more in appreciation. 

"And I appreciate that Sam thank you and I'm here whenever you or anyone else need me most." She told him but their attention was taken away to the tv to the news of what happened in Vienna as Sam went to get Steve. 

"A bomb hidden in a news van ripped through the UN building in Vienna. More than 70 people have been injured. At least 12 are dead, including Wakanda's King T'Chaka. Officials have released a video of a suspect who they have identified as James Buchanan Barnes, the Winter Soldier. The infamous HYDRA agent, linked to numerous acts of terrorism and political assassinations." The news anchor shared causing Marissa to walk away to a secluded spot locking the door as she held up the mirror as it fogged over. 

'Please stay safe you're framed and wanted now.' She wrote quickly as she worries about the situation. She placed the mirror away as she walked out and looked around for Steve before heading outside. She walked into the coffee shop heading to the counter as she sat down beside Sam as Steve joined them. 

"She tell you to stay out of it? Might have a point." Sam told them. 

"He'd do it for me." Steve told him. 

"1945, maybe. I just want to make sure we considered all our options. The people that shoot at you usually wind up shooting at me." Steve told him as Sharon arrived by Steve.

"Tips have been pouring in since that footage went public. Everybody thinks the Winter soldier goes to their gym. Most of it's noise. Except for this. My boss expects a briefing, pretty much now . . . so that's all the head start you're gonna get." Sharon told them as she slid a file to them. 

"Thank you." Steve told her in appreciation. 

"And you're gonna have to hurry. We have orders to shoot on sight." Sharon told him causing Marissa to shoot her head up. 

They went inside an apartment as they looked around suited up. "Heads up, Cap. German Special Forces, approaching from the south." Sam told him. Marissa turned to him as she smiled a bit looking at him in his eyes. 

"Understood." Steve acknowledged as he turned around to Bucky standing behind him. "Do you know me?" 

"You're Steve. I read about you in a museum." Bucky answered the lie as he stared at him. Marissa smiled a bit in appreciation at the lie he told he would follow through. 

"They've set the perimeter." Sam told them. 

"I know you're nervous. And you have plenty of reason to be. But you're lying." Steve told him. 

"I wasn't in Vienna. I don't do that anymore." Bucky told him. 

"They're entering the building." Sam told them. 

"Well, the people who think you did are coming here now. And they're not planning on taking you alive." Steve told him. 

"That's smart. Good strategy." Bucky told them. 

"They're on the roof. I'm compromised." Sam told them. 

"This doesn't have end in a fight, Buck." Steve told him as Marissa came closer a bit. 

"It always ends in a fight." Bucky told him. 

"5 seconds." Sam warned them. 

"You pulled me from the river. Why?" Steve asked demanding.
