Chapter Two: Plummeting

((What a lovely day **slams head into table at the speed of gae**))

Four figures leap from rooftop to rooftop- chatting back and forth with each other as they enjoy the cool night air. It wasn't enough to make their blood feel cold, so that was just a bonus. The night was calm, save for whatever chaos had taken place at the party in the streets. It seemed to be a bit of a communal thing, something that none of the figures bothered laughing about.

"Hey Raph, think fast!" The blue banded figure laughed as he turned around, using his katana to slice through the laundry line of more roof-accessible building. The line fluttered in the wind, as it blew toward the biggest figure in the group.

"Eh..!!" The grunt from the bigger figure, followed by a brief call of surprise caused the blue banded figure to snicker in amusement. "Very funny, Leo." The small grunt from the larger figure read the slightest bit in annoyance. However, a small chuckle soon escaped the same individual, before he pulled a piece of clothing from his shell- that had gotten caught on the jagged corner

"Neon Leon wins again. Leon 20, Raph 3." The playful figure jumped into the light, revealing himself to be the one and only Leonardo. The turtle mutant continued to make senseless gloats for the next minutes, as Raph just smiled and shook his head. Donatella snickered before chiming in. "I wouldn't get too cocky there, Leon. You seem to forget that Raph goes easy on you. You just win on a technicality."

That was enough to distract the blue banded brother, as he went crashing into a door that rested on one of the higher set roofs. The door seemed to be attached to the exit of a stairwell. Most likely another roofway that was public safe. Leave it to him.

"Oooo, we got a new competitor!" Michael chipped in, before pulling down a pair of sunglasses he had been sporting for the duration of the rooftop run they were on. "Over here in this cornner, we got the all-time champion- Neon Leonnnn!" the shout was loud, called into an invisible Microphone.

"Wh- shshsh a little quieter, Mikey, we don't want anyone hearin' us..!" the red banded turtle brought up his big arms, and pushed them out a bit in apprehension, looking over the side of the building they were on. However, as one would expect that did not stop the youngest of the brothers from retaining the same obnoxious volume as he continued to announce the failure of the blue chaos twin.

"And over here, from humble, humbe beginnings- we have the one- the only- Rooftop Dooorrr!" there was a loud mock chant of a crowd as Mikey started to make a drumming noise. "Will this newbie take down our alltime champion? It seems things may be bleak in Neon Leon's future! Whatever will our reigning champ do? Do you have any words for your fans, oh hero in blue?"

The mock microphone was pushed toward Leo's face, and the blue banded brother snickered, before grabbing the imaginary object away from the youngest turtle's grasp.

The purple banded brother seemed to smile a bit more, his face falling somewhere between an amused and tired expression. "Looks like he's gonna give us every bit of wisdom he has to offer." Donatello crossed his arms, before leaning on the nearby wall. "What are your words oh wise one?"

Raph brought his big hand up to his face as he gave up on quieting his brothers down. He did, however, step closer to them, to make sure nothing happened. Just in case. Despite loving seeing them having fun and just being their normal, dorky selves- he was always paranoid about them being caught because of recklessness.

"You see, my dearest twin, it all started when I was but a tiny tot. I decided that I was going to have big dreams, and one day accomplish those dreams. I trained hard, and slaved over my work every day, to get where I am today. I am the peak of perfection. I am what every youngster should strive to be like, because I know the values of hard work and self inflation-"
