Quick note, since Izuku wasn't in the cavalry battle, the only difference was that Uraraka's team only had three members, other than that, all the teams remained the same.

Bakugo's POV

The festival has been pretty easy all things considered. I'm a little pissed that I keep coming in second behind Icyhot, but it's whatever. Ojiro and a kid from 1-B ended up dropping out, since Shinsou brainwashed them and they didn't remember a thing. It was decided that Tetsutestu, Ibara, and Kendo would be filling in the slots, since the numbers would be uneven regardless. I was facing Uraraka, which hopefully she'll put up a challenge for me. I haven't seen her do anything spectacular as of yet, but who knows, maybe she'll surprise me.

The people who ended up winning the first round were Shinsou, Todoroki, Ibara, Iida, Mina, Tokoyami, and Kirishima. Now it's my turn. Uraraka and I stepped onto the field, and as soon as Present Mic said go, she made a beeline right at me, which I quickly countered with an explosion. She kept doing it over and over, with her being blown back every time. Gotta admit though, it took some resolve to keep getting up and coming at me. It was then I heard some heroes call me something I hate.

A bully.

I am not that person anymore. I refuse to be. That Katsuki died when he turned his best friend into a villain. Thankfully, Aizawa spoke up for me, which I was glad for. I ended up winning the match, but even then it was closer than most people might have thought. Kirby ended up using all the debris caused by all the explosions to send it all crashing down at me. I was able to destroy everything in one shot, but it did cause a strain on my hand. She ended up passing out after a short while, but if she kept going, she probably would've won. She's definitely earned my respect after that.

In the second round, Todoroki and Tokoyami won. Iida won as well, but had to drop out due to personal reasons, so Ibara was given the win. My match against Kirishima was almost another stalemate. It was defense versus offense, and Shitty Hair wasn't able to get close because of my explosions. The only reason I won was because I had to push OFA and was finally able to knock him out of the arena.

For the semifinals, Todoroki once again easily won against Ibara, and I was able to do the same against Tokoyami since his weakness was light. Now it all came down to this. When the match began, Todoroki immediately sent a giant glacier of ice at me. Predictable. I quickly used multiple explosions to make sure the ice wouldn't encase me. When I got out, I flew towards him, and quickly redirected myself for a fake out. I grabbed him by the head and tried to throw him out of bounds, but he recovered with an ice slide.

"Why the hell aren't you using your fire against me?!" I decided to call him out on it.

He looked at me a bit surprised, "It's none of your business," he told me.

I was starting to get annoyed, "It's not a real fight if neither side goes all out against each other! Are you looking down on me?!"

He didn't respond, so I grabbed him by the shirt and made him look into my eyes, "Alright then, let's say there's a civilian in danger and the only way to save them is to use your fire. What do you do?"

"I'll find a way to use my ice!"

"Stop being so fucking stubborn! If you don't use your fire, then you're just locking away half of your potential. And there's nothing I hate more than people who half-ass things."

I let go of him, "Do yourself a favor, and just walk out of the arena. You're wasting my time by not taking me seriously."

All he does is glare at me, but does walk out of the arena.

"Uh, the winner of this year's Sports Festival is Katsuki Bakugo! Give him a big round of applause!" Midnight said, probably trying to relieve any tension. They hesitantly started to clap for me, but I didn't care, I was pissed that I was basically handed this victory. The award ceremony was also still awkward, since I had to stand next to Icyhot after he literally walked out on me. All Might ended up congratulating everyone, and whispered that I did an excellent job with controlling OFA.

"Before we conclude this year's Sports Festival, one of you lucky audience members will get a chance to not only get a picture with this year's winner, but also with All Might himself!" Midnight announced, which made the onlookers go nuts.

"And this year's ticket number is...647! Will number 647 please come down to the arena!" she yelled.

After a few minutes, the guy came down, but something about him seemed...off. He was wearing a green hoodie, and refused to take the hood down. When we were posing for the picture, he said something that made my heart drop.

"You must be so proud of Kacchan Toshinori," he told us.

All Might slightly grew stiff, and both of us went a little pale. I finally got a good look underneath his hood, and sure enough, it was Izuku. His dull green eyes and sickening grin almost made me faint from pure shock. I swallowed my fear, and decided to ask, "Why are you here?"

He giggled, "Oh you know how much I love taking notes on heroes Kacchan. And this festival was the perfect chance to see all of your classmates' quirks up close. And I gotta say, they're impressive," he ended with a grin.

"Oh, also, don't even think about telling anyone about this. Tormura is around a few dozen people, and it would be a shame if people were to die at the Sports Festival of all places. I mean seriously, what were the Hero Commision thinking when they still wanted the festival to be public. Any villain could easily watch it and know what kinds of quirks the hero students have," he told us, which begrudgingly, I have to agree with.

The pictures were finally done, but before Izuku left, he said, "And All Might, the day that everything changes is coming sooner than you may think. Thanks for the picture!" And with that, he left.

I was left confused and worried. The day that everything changes? What did he mean by that? And he said soon. Well whatever it is, we'll be ready.
