((Sorry in advance for this extremely long chapter))

-------------

It was barely 6 am and I was already stressing out: I had to be downstairs in 20 minutes! I just woke up, I need to brush my hair, wash my face, brush my teeth, and get dressed. I don't even know if Harry's up yet! I had to do everything quietly to try and not wake my dorm mates so that also slowed me down.

I was ready after 15 minutes. When I went downstairs to the common room I saw Harry there, waiting for me. "What took you so long? I've been here for 10 minutes," He said as we rushed out the door. "Sorry, I woke up late," I told him. I didn't even have time to change the bandages on my hand. "Hopefully if we're fast enough we'll make it on time," Harry then said.

We made it just in time. Although everyone else was there, doing something. Everyone except one person.

"Excuse me, Professor Snape?" He was near the entrance of the Great Hall so I walked towards him. "Yes?" He answered. "Um, do you by any chance know where Draco is?" I asked him. "Mr. Malfoy is currently in the infirmary. Madam Pomfrey is taking a look at his nose,"  Snape told me. "Okay, um do you know if he's coming here when he's done?" then asked. "Yes, he is," He said. "Now you and Mr. Potter better get with your group and help set up. I'm sure Miss. Greengrass will tell the two of you what to do since she was early," Snape then walked away.

I went over to Harry who was walking around like a lost puppy and dragged him over with me to Daphne who said, "Finally the two of you are here. God, I've had to do all this work myself. You're both are so selfish!" She said angrily. Harry and I rolled our eyes. All she has done is put down a circular table that can fit at least 8 chairs. She only had 4.

"Why are you just standing there, help me with the tables! We need like 25 more," She ordered. "Potter, you help me on this side and, Mudblood go start on the tables on the other side, make sure there's enough space for a dance floor and don't block the stage area," Daphne then told us. I will admit, the girl has great organization.

I went to the other side of the hall and began setting up tables. There were students who were hanging all sorts of different things like snowflakes, wreaths and even mistletoe. I then looked up at the enchanted ceiling and saw snow falling. I smiled in content.

After around ten minutes of placing tables down, someone came up to me and said, "Daphne told me to come over here and help you. She says that I broke her heart." With a small chuckle. I turned around to face Draco. "So I heard you went and gave Madam Pomfrey a little visit. I see you took my advice?" I brought up. "Mm, was it you who told me to go? I can't really remember," Draco said whilst scratching his head. "Your face looks much better now, though," I told him with a smile.

"By the way, thank you for the gift," I said. "I gave you a gift? I don't remember that," Draco joked. "Stop playing dumb," I shoved him playfully. "Okay, sorry," He said with a small laugh. "Did you like it though?" He then asked, leaning on one of the tables. "Y'know, I'm not really sure. Gotta take everything out on a test run," I told him. "I'm sure when you do, you will look good," Draco said with a small smile.

"You're flirting with me even though I have a, what did you call Ron? Oh yeah, a boyfriend?" I asked him. "I'm not flirting with you, I am just making friendly conversation," Draco explained. "Oh, sorry, my bad," I excused myself. "No problem, people make mistakes," He shrugged. "So, Mr. Making-Friendly-Converstion, how about we talk whilst we put tables and chairs down?" I grinned as I walked away from Draco. "You're the boss," He bowed before joining me in doing our job.

~Time Skip~

The setup took about another two hours. It was now around 8 am. There were still another six hours until the ball and I didn't know how to spend the time. I was going to start getting ready around 1.
