"All attendees need to stay in your respective dorm groups!" Riddle called out through a megaphone as he helped guide the students to their proper places. "Oi! Savannah Claw, stop hogging the benches, Ignihyde put your electronic devices away! Everyone listen or it's Off With Your Heads!"

"Hoo Boy... I didn't expect there to be such a big turnout. There weren't nearly as many people trying out for the VDC." Ace rubbed the back of his head as he gandered at the crowd and eyes the stacks of files Azul had compiled. "How are we gonna get through all of these guys in one day?"

"These tryouts aren't about individual talent, it's about finding which ones will be able to work smoothly as a team." Yuu pointed out.

"Yuu-san is correct So what we'll do is run two makeshift teams and let them play each other. The Captain will then select which players are best suited for the team." Azul explained.

"Right, but I'll need eyes on all the players so you guys can help by keeping an eye out for good solid players."

"Rodger Captain!" Deuce saluted, earning a chuckle out of Ace.

"Ne, ne, Yuu. Make sure you watch me closely. I've been putting in a lot of practice for this." Grim rubbed his hands together.

"I know you have Grim." Yuu pet the top of Grim's head making him purr. "I wish you the best of luck."

"We should get these tryouts started before we have a ruckus on our hands." Riddle suggested showing signs of great irritation.

"Good idea..." Yuu stood up, taking a deep breath to calm themselves, then took front and center. "Welcome everyone! Thank you for coming. When I call your name please come to the front so I can assign your position for the scrimmage match. Please remember that this is about teamwork, so please work with your teammates if you want a spot on this team."

There were some murmurs and groans but Yuu ignored them and called out the names as listed. They assigned them each a position suggested to them by Azul and made small adjustments here or there to best fit the makeshift teams.

"Ready... set..." Yuu blew the whistle around their neck indicating the start of the game.

The spells started flying, and the disc ziped and whirled exchanging possession from player to player as they made their way to their perspective goals.

The crowd of students soon turned into a roaring audience with the various houses each rooting for their faves.

Yuu blew bangs from their eyes as they attempted to take notes on the match. They hadn't cut their hair in months and it was starting to get too long for their comfort. An oversight they'd have to figure out how to take care of later on.

"How do you expect to judge fairly looking like that?" Rook tsked and pulled a comb and hair tie from the pouch on his belt. "Non, non Monsuier. Your hair is so unkempt. Allow me to help you fix it." He stood behind Yuu pulling their face upright so they could run the comb back and through their hair. "Oh, you're skin is so much softer. You've been using Vil's products that he gifted you. Buon Soir!"

"Thanks, I think. It was a gift so I might as well use-ack! Rook be careful of my-" Yuu fidgeted as the comb tugged and pulled, their glasses fell off and onto the ground and a careless misstep caused the glasses to crunch underfoot. "Shoot! Oh man, I needed those!"

"Goodness! My apologies Monsieur. I didn't mean to break them." Rook rounded Yuu and picked up the glasses from the ground. He started to pull out his pen so he could repair them... but then noticed something. With their hair pulled back and glasses off, Yuu had big beautiful green eyes that truly sparkled. On closer inspection he saw the delicate features come to life and his heart stopped. "Oh Mon Dieu! C'est Magnifique!"
