I checked on Max. She on thigh facing the wall, not looking at me.

Lucas - "I take it you're really pissed at me right now."

Max - "Go away."

Lucas - "Max, I - "

Max - "You what, Lucas?! What do you want to do?! You want to pretend to care about me when I'm going through a current crisis in my life?! Is that it?!"

Lucas - "Max, I've always truly cared about you. You know that."

Max - "Then why couldn't we just talked about this at your house? You could've told me the truth there."

Lucas - "I was scared that you would react like this."

Max - "Lucas, I've been so traumatized ever since I saw what I did to Troy and now I need the truth. Was that you that attacked me and turned me?"

Lucas - "No! Max, you know I never hurt you. Ever. I swear, that wasn't me. I promise."

Max - "Do your parents and Erica know?"

Lucas - "No. Mike and Dustin don't know too. The only ones that know is you and Murray. Look, I know this is hard for us but we have to stay here until Murray figures out to make the cure for us."

Max - "....Okay."
