"Getting Through The Night"

Lucas

I was waiting in the living room, pacing back and forth, waiting for Murray to arrive. Max woke up and came downstairs.

Max - "Hey."

Lucas - "Hi. How'd you sleep?"

Max - "Okay but my arm still hurts like hell. Why are you pacing?"

Lucas - "Oh, I'm just figuring some things out."

Max - "Figuring what out?"

Lucas - "Nothing."

Max - "Lucas, if anyone needs to do the figure out, it's me. I need to know what's going on with me. I know you're worried about me but I think I need to - "

(Knocking)

Max - "Who the hell could be Knocking on the door this hour?"

I opened the door and it was Murray.

Murray - "Max! Lucas! Good to see you both again!"

Max - "Murray, what are you doing here?"

Murray - "Well, since I haven't seen you both in awhile, so I thought might as well see the "Children". Come on over here and give me a hug. I miss ya, ya little brat."

Max - (Chuckle) "Okay."

Murray quickly put a needle into Max's neck knocked her out.

Lucas - "What are you doing?!"

Murray - "Hey, you said, you needed my help, well I'm doing it. Pick her up, put her in the back of my car and let's go."

I picked up Max bridal style and put her in Murray's car. I went to the passenger seat.

Lucas - "Okay, do you finally have a cure for us or are you working on it?"

Murray - "I'm working on it but with you as monsters in the night, I need to conceal you 2 until I finally it done."

Lucas - "What do you mean?"

Murray - "What the hell do you think I mean?"

Lucas - "I'm not following you at all, Murray."

Murray - (Sigh) "Jesus Christ, I'm going to lock you both up in restraints and in solid metal room to get you both through the night without hurting or killing anyone."

Lucas - "Will this room be strong enough?"

Murray - "For your sake and Max, I hope so."
