I heard the sound of beeping and I woke up and I was in a hospital bed.
Lucas - "Hey, there you are."
Max - "Lucas,....It's - "
Lucas - "I know, it's been a awhile." (Chuckle)
We both laughed a little bit.
Max - "What happened to me?"
Lucas - "Don't you remember what happened? You were attacked by a wolf and it scratched you really bad. Your mom saved you and she scared it off and you passed out."
Max - "Damn. Where is my mom anyway?"
Lucas - "She went to go get food from the cafeteria. She'll be back soon."
Max - "I miss seeing you, Lucas. I miss this."
Lucas - "I miss this, too, Max. We all miss you."
He reached to grab my hand with his and I took it. We both smiled at each other.
