Hadleigh stood beside her papa as she waited for Blaise, when she spotted her friend, she smiled in greeting as she curtseyed to him, Blaise bowing in return. "Papa, I'd like you to meet my friend heir Blaise Zabini." She introduced the boy. Sesshomaru looked at him with calculating eyes he was deciding in that moment if this boy was good enough to be his pup's friend. "He was so friendly to me as well; he helped me choose this dress papa; I feel so pretty." Hadleigh continued to rant. Sesshomaru nodded his head as he turned and started walking down the street.
Blaise looked at Hadleigh, the girl smiled. "He likes you." She stated before pulling him down Diagon Alley.
Sesshomaru watched the two friends as Blaise helped Hadleigh choose the perfect cauldron as he knew that Professor Snape was an actual asshole, and he didn't want Hadleigh to get any of the older mans negative attention. She was just too sweet. Then he took her to get the bookstore to grab the perfect books for studying and the classes, he had also shown her some of the etiquette books that would help her during her time in Britain. They both went to the clothing shop, and once again Blaise helped her choose what robes would work for her. Hadleigh was thankful that neither pushed her to get anything out of her comfort zone. Blaise was a true sweetheart.
Sesshomaru stayed in the shadows allowing his pup to gain more confidence in the world, he had also noted that the boy didn't force her to choose what to get he allowed her to make that choice. When it came time to get their wands, Hadleigh showed her already made wand, along with Blaise the two laughing at the decision to get their wands crafted. Continuing on the two gathered more supplies before making their way to the magical animals. Hadleigh and Blaise split, the Italian boy already knowing what he wanted, his own owl.
Hadleigh was scanning the animals, she already had an owl, a beautiful eagle owl, now she wanted something different, she allowed her magic to surround the area, turning her head she walked to the very back finding a beautiful nekomata. "What are you doing here sweet one." She whispered as she dropped her glamour showing her Yokai face. The nekomata meowed before jumping at the girl and rubbing her face into Hadleigh's cheek, purring loudly. Hadleigh's laughter filtered out to the shop owner seeing the girl with her glamour back up and the demonic cat purring loudly.
"Take the demon cat for free." The man said suddenly pushing the girl out with treats and other necessities.
Hadleigh blinked in surprise as she looked at the nekomata. "You were being a little devil weren't you." She giggled. She held her new familiar in her hands as she looked into her eyes. "I think I'll call you Kiki." Hadleigh smiled joyfully. Kiki mewed happily before jumping onto Hadleigh's shoulder, Blaise walking out of the shop with his new owl.
He smiled at Hadleigh's new familiar the nekomata mewed at him, before going back to rubbing her head on Hadleigh's cheek. "Papa! Look what I have." She said with a smile showing her papa the new family member.
Sesshomaru stared the nekomata down before turning and walking towards the floo system. "Does he like it?" Blaise asked. Hadleigh nodded, as she then followed her papa, Blaise right behind her, still confused by her father and his moods. Or even how to understand him at all. Hadleigh spoke to her papa as he told her he had to go do some business with Jaken.
"Okay I'll stay with Blaise, I am feeling a bit hungry." She said with a gentle smile. Sesshomaru sent Blaise a look which this time her understood. Keep her safe or else. He really didn't want to know what the 'else' was. Hadleigh skipped over to her friend as they went to a little café. Getting a table, the two friends discussed where to meet at the platform, Hadleigh was very excited to meet Blaise's mother, Blaise was surprised someone wanted to meet his mother.
"She sounds delightful." She would answer when he asked. He had even told his mother of the girl wanting to meet her. His mother had locked herself in her office, telling him she was just writing some advice for the girl. He hoped the pair never got to plan a murder together, though his mother never killed anyone, it was all rumors.
"Blaise!" A young male voice called out. Blaise turned to see Theodore Nott smiling manically in his direction, every bit of decorum was flung out the window when this boy saw his friends.
"Hello Theo." Blaise greeted with a smile as he stood and brought his friend into a hug. "Theo, I'd love to introduce to you Hadleigh Taisho heiress to the noble and prestigious house of Taisho." Blaise said, Hadleigh stood and curtseyed to Theo who bowed back with a smile.
"I'm Theodore Nott Jr. heir to the ancient and noble house of Nott." Theo said with a smile. "But please call me Theo." He ended with a grin.
Hadleigh giggled as she nodded. "Then please call me Hadleigh and this is Kiki." She said as she showed the boy her familiar. Theo grinned at the sighed of the nekomata. Kiki mewed softly before putting her paw on his nose. "Aw, she likes you." Hadleigh giggled Theo chuckled alongside her giggles.
"Would you mind if I joined you both?" Theo asked.
"Of course not, any friend of Blaise is a friend of mine." Hadleigh said with a brilliant grin. Theo grinned as well the three now sitting at the table talking happily, Hadleigh telling Theo of her travels around the world and the cultures she had come to love. By the time they had finished their afternoon lunch, Sesshomaru had stepped into the café, he saw his pup with a new boy, Hadleigh seeing her papa told the boys she was to be going now.
They hugged before the small girl was skipping away, Hadleigh with a smile on her face as she spoke to her papa about her day and about making a new friend. She couldn't wait for Hogwarts to start now.
