Lisa ignored Nikun's gaze and didn't continue to tell who the mastermind behind the plan was when he saw her in deep thought.

Ruby Jane deduced the rest of the plan. "Seungri kept an eye on all the cardiologists in the city once he doubted my existence."

Placing his elbow on the backrest, Lisa propped his head on his hand watching her side profile while she analyzed all the plans of Seungri. He wanted her to study the situation because Ruby Jane could point out minor details which they might have missed.

This was a completely new side of Ruby Jane so Nikun didn't interrupt and heard her speak of the plans of Seungri without needing any assistance or confirmation.

Ruby Jane's eyes were on the piano while she dissected Seungri's silent plans. He was trying to set a big trap for her but unfortunately, Lisa was too smart and careful from the beginning so Seungri failed.

She continued in certainty, "Since he couldn't find any record of Jennie in any hospital, He wanted to try in the military hospital, that's too risky and hard." Provoking the military isn't a good choice when Seungri's background is so corrupted.

So Seungri needed a way where the best surgeon could run up to save a person. They can't choose a common man, "So he chose to shoot at the heart of the cabinet secretariat who will get assistance from top-notch private and military doctors."

How she wanted to pedal that poison snake for hurting innocent people. She wished to speed up her plans but it would be dangerous so she controlled her emotions.

Nikun and Lisa looked at each other. They had indeed missed this point. When the city was under curfew three years back, the military had locked down the city. Hence Seungri doubted the military hospital thinking they might have saved Jennie.

Ruby Jane continued, "Seungri fooled Mertons to keep his slate clean to let them take the blame." She couldn't understand if the Mertons were an idiot or Seungri was just shrewd. "Seungri wanted to make sure if a person shot in the chest could be saved just like me. If yes, then who could save the secretariat?"

Lisa stretched his hand and tucked her hair lock behind her ear as a faint smile flashed on his face. He felt like his Cupcake must have been a detective or joined some secret service like her brother Zain.

Instead of continuing her deduction, she suddenly remarked, "Seungri really lives up to his identity. Toxic, sharp-witted, pernicious man."

Before stepping into the penthouse, he had thought Seungri was targeting Lisa and M Industries to help Merton get the project. He was initially grim, thinking how dare Seungri or Merton tries to attack Lisa's team in Merton Hotels.

Now it is cleared, Everything is linked to one lady and it's Jennie.

Hearing Ruby Jane showing her disapproval for Seungri Harmon's toxic, harmful behavior, Lisa cooled her down, "His bad luck. He is against a Black Swan."

Since Ruby Jane was from a business world she knew what it meant by Black Swan, she shook her head helplessly for earning different names frequently from him.

Whereas Nikun looked at her black dress and remembered she was in the black too when he met her at M Industries.

He wasn't curious about the couple's flirting so he was about to ask Ruby Jane to continue her deduction but he sensed Chaeyoung coming downstairs. He cued Lisa and put on a nonchalant air.

Chaeyoung who skipped downstairs had heard Lisa's words, "Who compliments that way?"

She peeked at Ruby Jane from behind the couch and smiled. She had really thought Lisa's Cupcake was going to be some cute little girl but Ruby Jane was beyond her imagination. She wasn't only beautiful but had brains.
