iv. fog haunts hidden woes left behind
▬▭▭▭▭i clinged towards golden cracks
that tore the ever vast empyrean
into an agonizing reminder;
a blinding sight.
the effulgent lodestar
fades into the forenoon
the waterlogged earthy stones
luxuriate upon virescent
café au lait walls grown
from years of waiting
(for what exactly, i have no clue)a robin with feathers
of dying sunsets
chirruped in choruses
of a waking dawn
drowned by an ocean
of seafoam mist
blackbirds echoed
a mellifluous sonata
as their abyssal eyes
opened lychgates
to knowledge
left by neglected spirits
haunted by morrows
(that never came)
