viii. distant rainbows among dead clouds
▬▬▭▭▭hours of bedridden lachrymose tears
pierced and carved sepia landscapes
the miserable buttercup sent it's prayers
to the buried crimes of oregon grapescotton clusters drowned the glaucos firmament
to and fro busy altocumulous flocks glide
engrossed in their own whimsical delirament
following the zephyr that whirled with pridethe meteorological phenomenon
doused the sky in faint optical hues
the colors of the legendary pantheon
dyed in artificial quixotic viewsfading yet vivid such bright reflections
spirits of color that touched every corner
illusions that covered their imperfections
such pleasantries soothed the mournersoon a feast was commenced at noon
sparkling remains of war ridden flakes
thus a toast in honor of the halcyon june
burying the coffins of clandestine mistakescloudburst darkness awaken by sunshine
fossil clouds assuaged from their gloom
cockcrow glow traced the auriferous skyline
waiting for new morning glories to bloom
