Jess stares at the letter that has come in. And she is standing near the fireplace within a fire crackle as the wood burns. Then she heard the door open and close, and she looked up from the letter to see Louis staring at her with worry in his eyes. He opened his mouth as his mouth went dry, looked at her, then at the letter. Jess took a step towards him with tears rolling down her cheeks and anger in her eyes. Jess held her hand on her chest as she held the letter in another hand. " Explain yourself about this letter from her," she growled as he looked back at her.

" You know that I love you, right?" he says nervously in his tone as she narrows her eyes " well, you see, she and I are friends. You know that I wouldn't hurt you. " she shook her head at him " well, you did hurt me with these lies and the fake love, " she takes a breath to calm her down. " Our love wasn't fake. " she glanced at him " That's bullshit! you and I were faking it! I don't know why I would cry over you," she yelled at him. " Maybe you did fall in love with me," he says as she shakes her head in daniel.

" no, I won't fall in with you because you're a monster, " She mutters as he grins at her. " You sure about that? " She nods her head as her head starts to hurt. Jess falls onto her knees and holds her head as she groans out of pain.

Don't you feel history repeating itself?

You've done this before.

Remember who you are?

He's been nothing but horrible to you.

Can't you see that he's hiding something from you?

She hears the voices in her head as she puts her hands to her ears to block out their voices. Louis observes her and grins even more as he stares at her shaking body. " Put her back in the black room now." He spat at the guard as the guard nodded and grabbed her by the arm. Jess shook her head as the guard dragged her to the black room and locked her in the room. She is surrounded by no sunlight or windows in that room, surrounded by darkness.

Jess is alone in her thoughts.

She backed up to a corner of the room when her back hit the brick wall. The cold brick wall made her shiver as she slid down and sat down on the hard floor, only seeing darkness.

Your life has been a lie.

He's been lying to you about everything, so listen to us.

Let us show you the Truth.

Jess covers her ears when she begins to hear the voices again. 'Truth? What are they talking about...don't understand.

Louis watches her from the cameras in his office. He stares at her shaking body and covers her ears from something he can't understand. Louis took his eyes off the screen and towards the window to see young kids training and their childhood memories being gone from their minds. He used the same machine his father created and used it on him and Jess when they arrived at this place they called home. Louis wanted to burn this place to the ground and destroy his family, and never forgive his father.

But now, he doesn't want to burn this place down. Why? Because he has realized that his father was right about this family business. They could make an army for the government if it has ever asked them of it. Still, his mother wouldn't prove that this place was going to, but he would always listen to his father even if he made his mother hate him.

Louis saw the photo of his mother and him in their garden. That garden was the most beautiful garden that you'll ever see. The happiest memories have happened in that garden. But that's also where his mother's craving is. His father didn't cry at the funeral, but Louis did while Jess was comforting him.

Otherwise, he would've stayed away from him if his mother was still alive. Louis misses her dearly. He knows that he has many issues like abandonment, anger, and trust, and his father was ' helping him' with those issues. That didn't help Louis at all. He remembers his mother's warm embrace when she hugged him and the clam smile on her lips.

I ran into the garden to see the roses brushed and the path gravel the fortune in the middle of the park. I caught mom sitting on the bench with her netting kit, and she noticed me staring at her. " Love, what are you doing here? I thought you were with your father?" She questioned me as I walked over to her. " He wanted me to keep you company while he's in his boarding meeting." I reposed. She nodded and looked down at me.

" Well then, that's nice of him to do that," she spoke gently. I shrugged my shoulders and sat down next to her on the bench. "Your father made this garden when we first started dating. He was a true gentleman towards me when I was shy and didn't like fighting." She recalled the memory. " How did you guys meet?" I softly asked while glancing up at him.

She smiled at the fond memory of how she met his father. " Back in a meeting that your grandfather was doing for his company, he was there with his dad. He notices me first when I am on high alert for everyone that would go near my father. My job was to protect him with my life." She rubbed my head, and I smiled: Mom took a breath, but she continued. " When our dads introduce us to each other. I didn't trust him as much: then I did later on the days." She gave me a bright smile.

Her long brown hair is in her bun, and her blue eyes are like the blue sky. " Were you a bodyguard for your father?" I asked as she thought for a moment before she spoke, " You could say that." She said, reassuring me. I nodded, and we began to enjoy our company.

Louis shook his head from that memory of him and his mother when she was alive. He walked to his office with a heavy heart that his mother held in her hands and returned to work.

Louis sat down on his chair and checked the cameras to see how jess was doing in the black room. He sees her lying on the floor conscience as his eyes widen, and he runs out of his office. He quickly walked towards the black space and unlocked the door to see her body in a ball. Louis carefully took a step towards her, his knees down to her body to know she was still breathing. He picks her up from the floor. He carries her to his room, where he lays her on his bed.

Louis observes her and sees that she still is softly breathing. The clock is ticking in the background as he sits down on the chair with a worried look.
