Jay's P.O.V

Saying the ride was rocky wasn't the right word to describe it.

"Help me!" Peter yelled.

No that's not the word either.

"I'm going to die!" Peter yelled.

Nope, that's not the word.

"This is chaotic!" Peter yelled.

That's the word, chaotic.

We've been riding for about fifteen minutes and I have a suspicion that Peter regrets agreeing to this. Call it a gut feeling. Me, Peter, and Mary are riding Talos' chariot and Austin and Sadie are riding Ajax's chariot, we're going about 30 MPH, leaving a dust cloud on the dirt road behind us and I gotta admit, this may have been awesome but why the heck was the chariot not designed with a back or at least straps to keep you from falling off!? Me and Peter almost fell five times, Mary grabbing and pulling us back in for those five times!

We soon exited the town, which revealed a mountain with a Greek-styled temple on top of it, a large lake connected to two rivers, one river heading south, the other river southeast, and a field of different types of crops between the two rivers. As we went down the dirt road, I saw a nearby forest and a large gray building that looked like a large office building. "What is that temple for?" I asked, curiously.

Peter took a break from screaming and throwing up from motion sickness to explain. "It's to honor your dad, Zeus. There's a temple for Poseidon in the lake and a temple for Hades lower on the mountain," Peter explained, "we also have a part of town that is mostly temples for the other Greek gods and goddesses."

We then soon crossed a stone bridge and the bump almost made Peter fall off but thankfully I caught him by his shirt and pulled him back to the chariot. "What about the building," I asked and Peter couldn't explain, because he was busy trying to hold down his last meal. "It's the school/training center and our destination," Mary explained.

Ten minutes later, we parked in front of the large gray building, which I assume is made of concrete. Our group made our way to the big metal front door. The door has a sign that says Training Center. Miles came bursting through the door, he still looked the same as when he was in the museum. The only difference was that his jacket had big holes and the right sleeve was missing. He also had some scars and bruises on his arms and face. What did this to him? I thought, worryingly.

Mary and I quickly but gently sat him down, resting his back on the wall. "You need to go to the hospital," Mary said, "Austin, Sadie take Miles to the hospital." They nodded and before they helped him Miles said,
"Guys do me a favor and kick Dave's ass for ruining my favorite jacket." We walked through the door and saw the flight of stairs.
"Please tell me there's an elevator," I said, hoping there was one. I looked towards Peter who disappointedly shook his head no. ¨How many steps are there?" I asked, knowing it wasn't going to be a pleasant answer.

"There are about ten steps each flight of stairs, about 9 flights of stairs. So to answer your question: ninety steps," Peter answered, making me groan in annoyance.
¨We don't call it The Stairwell of Hades for nothing, come on, boys," Mary said, leading the walk down the stairs and me and Peter, regrettably, followed.

With every step, the sound of fighting, yelling, and the occasional roar grew, causing fear to build up in me from not knowing what was down these stairs. We made it to the bottom of the stairs and saw what can only be described as a super military training room. To our right was a section with every type of workout equipment. To our left was an armory with almost every weapon except for modern weapons (guns, grenades, etc) on display and an empty section with six targets on the wall, which I assume was there to train with said weapons. I noticed that Dave was in the weapon section, holding a bow and he then drew an arrow to fire it.
