About Me!
Hello! My name is Micha and I've been in love with The Great Gatsby since 2020 when I was first introduced to the 2013 film! Since then, I've read the book MANY times and yes - if I could watch the film for the first time again, I would in a heartbeat!

While this is all set in America, you might notice that my spelling is a bit 'off'. The newfound 'u' in 'favourite' and 's' in 'apologise' are all normal for me being from England so- I'm sorry if that knocks you, USA.
I might also get some terminology wrong!

Though this fanfic is based on the 2013 film and aspects from the book, please don't expect it to be perfect! This is built on my headcanons and my favourite ships. The following are the canonical sexualities for this fanfic:
Nick Carraway: Homosexual/Gay
Jay Gatsby: Bisexual (female pref)
Jordan Baker: Homosexual/Lesbian
(No other characters are specified. That's up to your own interpretation!)
These labels are for reference!
Sexuality is fluid and can change at any time! Again, these are just my headcanons and the sexualities that I will be using in this fanfic.
Other Works?
This is the only fanfic that I'm working on at the moment. In the distant past, I had another account, but I VERY quickly left it and forgot the password- I was and still am a MASSIVE Be More Chill Musical fan and had a 22 part fanfic on there that, reading back, I really didn't like, so that was that XD.
My main issue was starting too many fics at the same time- I just had so many different ideas to write down! Not to mention the fact that I would always go with the flow instead of figuring out where I wanted the story to go first.

Hopefully, this one is a bit more refined since I've had the plot planned out for a long while now!
