Many people don't usually voice their emotions to others. Some may use forms of art to express themselves or some may even write in their diary or journal that they have hidden. These are the people who sometimes may fail to realize that it's okay to cry and allow someone else to sit and listen as they hug you and allow you to talk it out.

Neveah's POV:

As the days kept going by, Hakeem would call and/or text me each day, I started to develop a tiny crush on him....Okay fine! Maybe a huge crush, but I genuinely still had a crush on this man. Big or small, I'm falling heavy!

Yes we kissed and teased each other like friends with benefits, but there were actual relationship elements thrown in whatever you wanna call us at the moment. He is so sweet, caring and definitely puts me before himself which I still fuss with him about, but other than that he seems to care so much about me and it makes me blush every time I think about it.

Shit he's locked in now. He done met my momma, who was pissed that she has to hear that her daughter was almost killed by her own blood from someone other than her daughter.

                  Yup you guessed it.

The twins were the ones to tell her what happened. I'm not even mad that they told her before I did because I don't even know when I was gonna tell her myself. And besides they're basically family so they share almost everything with my momma.

*Phone Ringing*

Speaking of my momma, here she go calling me

Speaking of my momma, here she go calling me.

  "Hello?"

"Hi babygirl. How are you today? Do you need me to stop by? Do you need anything? Does your hand and wrist still hurt?-"

"Ma. It's literally 7:30 in the morning, this call couldn't wait till a little later?" I asked rolling over to reach for my airpod case.

"I'm sorry baby. I'm just so used to you getting ready for work right now, I forgot the police shut down the shop temporarily." She replied. "Did they ever call you back saying when the shop is gonna open after they finish whatever they're looking for? Because since the lease is under my name, I ain't get a call either and it's been weeks!"

Oh yea y'all. The shop got temporarily shut down because the police wanna do a full search of the place after an anonymous person called into the station saying that I was running an underground drug operation in the basement of the shop.

The police obviously didn't tell me who called in, but they slipped up and used the pronoun 'her' so I definitely know the person was a female for sure.

"Yea no, they didn't. I'm gonna head down to the station later to see what's going on because this is getting ridiculous now. They don't see that not only are they playing with my money, but they're playing with the girls' bags as well?! They really gonna get a piece of my mind forreal! Mattafact, let me get up since it's almost 8 o'clock now."
