I stared at him as we waited for Stella to get here. She was out running some errands. I didn't tell her what it was because I didn't want her to have a stroke.
"So. You're a were?" Nyah asked as I stared at him.
"Yes," he replied.
"Your name is Evan Victor Carvajal?" Nyah asked.
"Yes," he replied staring at me.
"So, how is it that my baby is not were?"
"I ummm..I uh was turned by Raina a very long time ago," he said.
"Isn't this some shit," Nyah said.
Me and Evan or Victor just sat there staring at each other.
"You look like her," he said to me.
"Did you ever try looking for Stella?" Nyah asked him.
I did after a while. My daughter Happi had just come back from the dead....that's a long story me and her little sister Izzy were just living our life in Paris at the time. I met Stella at a library, my daughter wanted to go. And that was that."
