Home
Nyah was sleeping, the kids were sleeping. Well everyone but Signe. She is always up.
We were just reading together. It always amazes me how fast they grow and learn. They are not even six months old.
That is the craziest part of this all.
"Can I have some of your drink?"
"It's your mothers blood."
"How did you get it?" She asked.
"If I tell you. I would have to kill you." I smiled and she smiled as I handed her my pink and purple tumbler cup.
"Does hers taste different?" She smelled the cup.
"Yes, it's very warm and make you feel like you are floating." I got up from the couch hearing a knock on the door.
Please do not wake Nyahima. She had been woke for the last thirty six hours.
"Does she know you got it?"
"Nope," I said heading to the front door.
"Who is it?" I asked looking because I didn't see anyone through the window.
"It is Alice." I opened the door to see her bleeding and holding her stomach.
"Mom, who is that?"
"Alice, come in. What happened? Signe go get a towel and your mother."
I closed the door helping Alice to the living room.
"What happened?"
"I am fine, thank you, Sugar."
"Alice you are bleeding from the abdomen. You aren't okay."
She smelled me.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
"She turned you?"
"This isn't about me."
"Sugar baby what?" Nyah said walking in with Signe dragging her by the hand naked, rubbing her eyes and all.
"Signe why didn't you let her get dressed."
"She said to leave her alone."
