I held my hands up as I walked out of my black smoke.
"I come in peace," I said to her guard dogs in her front yard. "Even if I didn't you still couldn't even stop me."
"It's two am here. What is your business here?"
"Speak to Raina."
"To speak to the Alpha you must return in the morning."
"It's okay, Dylan. Raina walked up behind him. "I got it from here."
The two weres walked off leaving us alone in the moonlight.
"How can I help you, Nyahima?"
I stared at her as she stared at me.
"I am not going to fight you," she said.
"How could none of you fight for me?" I asked.
"Nyahima, I was a child. There was nothing I could do. I didn't have a clue what was going on then."
"Bullshit, Raina. Your father told you everything always. He became the Alpha when Obsidian left, did he not? No one fought for me. No one looked for me, nothing."

"Well than you," I replied crossing my arms.
"I would be more than happy to have you and your family in this pack as you all should be."
