America is trash. That is all I really have to say right now. The food, the wildlife, the people, the air even. Like how do these people live?
"Mommy?" Chepi said as I was sitting on the couch watching Shadow bite his nails.
"I'm tired, and I have to take a shower now."
"Okay, go shower," I said and continued to keep sitting.
"You going to bring the soap? There is no more in the bathroom."
"You can get some out of the hallway closet."
"Mommy?" She said and Shadow looked at me.
"Chepi, go shower."
"Are you coming? Or should I wait for you to shower?"
I can't believe I let this happen.
"No, I don't need a shower right now."
"Okay. I will just wait with you." She sat down next to me and Sugar looked over at me from her book she was reading.
"Chepi, from this day on you will shower or bathe alone. In your own bathroom whenever you want."
Her eyes lowered and she turned and looked at Sugar.
"Do it and I will correct you," I said to her and she starred screaming making Shadow cry running underneath the couch and Sugar had to cover her ears.
I slowly turned to her and dug my claws into the base of her neck and she shut up.
"What did I tell you? Why are you screaming for?"
"It hurts," she said.
"It's supposed to..."
"Here hurts," she said putting her hand where my heart would be if the Obsidian would give it back.
"Go shower, now."
I let her go and she ran out.
"Maybe stop causing her pain she would learn better. I just mean like one day you are motherly affectionate with her and now your not."
"Because of what..."
"Nyahima, my life my love. She is a baby, whether she looks it or not. She is."
