S K Y L E RThe walls of the inside were painted lavender. The living room was small and had a wooden center table, a white pale disgusting sofa.
Seems they've both been working on the house since we left for school.
"This place is small and I don't like it."
"Too bad, this is our new house now." My mom replied in a bored tone.
"Whatever. Where's my room?" I ask, hoping it was fixed up already.
"Upstairs. Room to your left."
As I climbed up the stairs, it kept making creaking sounds. I located the door and opened it. It was small, with an open window facing the neighbors. It is still painted lavender, not that I mind, I actually like the color purple.
This is the only thing I like about this house.
Getting a clearer view of the arranged room, I notice that there were two beds in the room.
Why is that? Maybe the previous occupants left it?
"Mom!" I yelled walking downstairs, hoping it's not what I think it is. I found her in the kitchen offloading stuff from a box.
"Why are there two bed in my room?"
"Oh. It's not just your room, it's yours and Crystal's."
"What! Why do I need to get stuck with her? I need my own space!" I demanded.
"This is a three bedroom apartment. The first room is mine, the second belongs to Steven, He's the only boy here and he needs his privacy while the third room is yours and Crystal."
"Wait. Where are the annoying brats?"
"They are your siblings, not annoying brats. I don't like those friends of yours, they keep filling your head wi-"
"Enough mom, I don't want to hear I-"
The sound of the doorbell interrupted me, we just arrived but these lower class have started being annoying.
"Go get the door, now!" Mom ordered.
Rolling my eyes and wondering where the brats were, I walked to the door and opened it. I open it and find a smiling dark skinned girl that I'm guessing is around my age or so, holding something in her hands.
"Hey!" She beamed.
I looked at her from head to toe, she looked okay, hazel brown skin, gorgeous bouncy hair, her aura radiated happiness and I was already sick of it.
She looks familiar, just don't remember properly.
"What do you want?" I ask in a bored tone.
"This is for you!" She stretched her hand forward.
"Did someone from here ask for this?"
"No, it's just a welcome gift. I stay at the house next to yours so I ass-"
"Don't assume anything. We aren't going to stay here for long." I announced before slamming the door shut.
It's a welcome gift? Who asked?
"Why did you slam the door sweetie?" My mom's voice asked from the kitchen.
"Don't call me that! Your new neighbor just managed to piss me off!" I say in a stressed tone and went back to my room.
As I was going to lay down, something caught my attention from the window. I saw a figure throw a punch at another figure. Usually I'm the type to sit and watch, but I couldn't see their faces so it was pointless to keep watching.
