S K Y L E R"Isn't that right Sky?" Lana asked with a smile plastered on her face.
With that everyone began whispering to themselves and Lana kept her evil smile.
I refuse to let her win.
"I think the people of Kingston are smart enough to know what's a lie and what's not." I said with confidence.
"Lana, what are you-"
Audrey tried to say but Lana shut her up by raising her index finger.
She turned to me with an emotion I've never seen before in her eyes. "I thought you would accept it once but that's not like Skyler Richmond, is it?" She paused. "I think the time has come to show you your real place."
"There's no need to lie, Sky." Williams voice chipped in.
"Will? Baby, she's lying." I said firmly and placed my palm on both sides of his face.
"Get your hands away from me, loser." Will said and pushed my hands away.
"Wil-"
"It's William to you. I can't have you ruin my reputation, so this, is over." Will interuppted me.
"Are you breaking up with me?!" I literally shouted.
"You lost your house, your money, your boyfriend and now, you've lost your friends." Lana smirked.
Everyone stood silent, watching the drama unfold. Teachers stood at the corner, also watching the drama unfold.
"Enough!" I screamed and walked away.
"Where do you think you're going?!" Lana and two cheerleaders cornered me.
"To class bitch." I spat back bitterly and her expression turned sour.
"Isn't it funny how power changes? You were the richest girl in Kingston but now, you're worse than the scholarship ones." I heard Amber, one of my so called friends vomit.
"You're done!" A girl commented from beside her.
"She humiliates people that were low class but she is worst than those scholarship kids." Another commented.
I walked up to amber and her friends and I made sure to shut them up with my palm connecting to Amber's face.
"You just hit me you bitch." Amber exclaimed, while rubbing her now red cheek.
I smiled to myself and walked away but a sudden pain stopped me.
"Ow... Let me go." I whinced in pain when I realize that someone grabbed me by the hair from behind.
"Shut up!" A voice answered back at me.
"You better let me go or else...." I threatened.
"Or else what you bitch?" Another voice mocked and bent my hair backwards so I could see the face of my traitor.
Everyone present were laughing loudly. Never have I ever felt this humiliated, I'm usually the one behind the humiliation.
Is this how it feels to be humiliated?
I could already feel tears prickling in my eyes. But I'm not going to let these people ruin my mascara.
I blinked away the tears and took a deep breath. My eyes wander to Lana and I give her a death glare which caused her to chuckle.
"Keep your glares to yourself." Lana sneered.
"Make m-"
A sudden slap made me gasp and erupted laughter from Amber and everyone else.
I struggled to set my arms free and my hair was in a mess.
"Okay, that is enough! Get to class everyone!" A deep, authoritative voice echoced through the hallway which caused the arms holding me to set free and for the rest students to run away.
"I said get to class!" The principal's voice said again, while staring at Lana, Audrey and myself.
"This isn't over." Lana said before hitting my shoulder with hers and walking away. Audrey looked apologetic and looked at me with sorry eyes before leaving with Lana.
I felt like my legs were glued to the tiled floor and the incident just played over and over again.
"Miss Richmond, I don't think I need to repeat myself." The principal said in a Stern voice.
I slowly walked away from the hallway to my class. I could feel my body shaking, I suddenly felt cold. During my chemistry class, I sat at the back, but I could still notice people staring at me and laughing.
I don't like this feeling.
Classes went by with stupid stares. I stood outside to wait for a familiar taxi painted yellow and black.
"Skyler! I've been searching everywhere for you!" A familiar annoying voice called. I traced the sound till my eyes land on Crystal.
"What!" I answered back.
"I told Jasper to park at the back gate because I thought you wouldn't like it if he parked in front, but here you are."
"So the one time I decide to wait out front, he parks at the back?!"
"Geez chill, can we leave already?"
I sluggishly walk behind Crystal to the car was parked and was greeted by an ever smiling Jasper, but he refrained from trying to converse with me when he noticed the sour look on my face.
The car ride was everything but quiet but neither Crystal nor Steven tried to include me in their meaningless conversations. When we got home, the first thing I did was go up to my room and just laid on my bed.
I feel like even my own brain is assulting me with the images popping up in my head and the video kept playing on repeat. My friends betrayed me, my boyfriend left me, I have lost everything.
"Skyler, what's up?" Crystal asked.
"Nothing, get out of the room."
"This isn't just your room anymore!"
"Ugh fine, then I'll leave." I stormed out of the room and slammed the door shut.
"Stupid Crystal is always pissing me off!" I say to myself as I make my way down the stairs.
"Skyler, stop talking to yourself." My mom warned.
"Can't I just have a moment of peace in this shithole!" I groaned in frustration and walked out of the house, also slamming the door shut behind me.
With the cool air blowing my face, I almost feel at peace. This is exactly what I needed, peace and quiet.
"Hey drama queen!" A voice said and I silently curse my luck.
My eyes met with a pair of honey brown eyes. The same guy.
"You again!" I say with lack of concern.
"Do you want to talk?" He probably knows and is here to make fun of my situation.
"Listen her-"
"Relax pretty girl," He said in a calm tone.
"No! I don't want to talk to you. Get out of my presence!"
"Okay, okay. I understand if you want to be alone, but here," He paused as handed me a chocolate bar.
Not necessarily handed, more like he threw it at me.
"I don-"
"I know my sister usually feels a little bit better after having this chocolate bar. Goodnight." He interrupted and walked away.
