THIRD POV

"Cookies tainted by Sea and Mud... Accept the words of providence and you may find deliverance We bring the prospect of a promised land, rich in sunlight and firm soil..."

The missionary Cookie sent by the Pastry Order was preaching the Gospel to the citizens of the lower City, miserable and unhappy.

To accompany her, was sent another Cookie.

Pastry Cookie.

She was the Church's most beloved and devoted disciple... a faith of steel.

Though that faith seemed to be unbreakable, something surely has changed.

The young Cookie soon found out the shocking truth about her very existence.

The Holy witches, the Gods she prayed to every night, actually ate Cookies...

She witnessed the fall of White Lily Cookie and the birth of Dark Enchantress Cookie.

Such a young soul carrying so much pain, pain that she couldn't share with anybody.

While the Missionary preached, the Cookie stood idle nearby, not daring to make a sound.

She was following with her eyes every Cookie that passed by.

Everyone would glance at Pastry Cookie and the her comrade with disgust...

Pastry Cookie could only sigh.

She was so tired, and all the noise and chaos coming from the crowded market was starting to make her dizzy.

But she had to stay strong, this was just a small sacrifice that she and the missionary had to endure to spread the Gospel.

This was the right thing to do...

Right..?

Pastry Cookie couldn't help but question everything that led her up to this moment.

'Did I make the right decision?'

'Do the Witches really know what's best for us?'

'Do they really care about Cookies?'

'Am I straying away from the right path?'

'Am I wrong?'

'Is the Pastry Order... wrong?"

These questions were reverberating in her mind, making her even more tired and stressed.

This could have went on and on for a long time, if only one Cookie didn't interrupt her.

"Pastry Cookie... Is something wrong?" -Whispered a voice from behind.

Pastry Cookie turned around immediately to find none other than the Shadow Sister that her mentor has told her about.

Despite her wording, the Cookie didn't look worried, but rather displeased.

Half of the Cookie's face was covered by a large shadow coming from her black veil, making her even more intimidating.

Pastry Cookie froze for a few seconds before replying.

"I... I appreciate the concern... But I am perfectly fine."
