Lizzie's PoV
"You are not going there!" She shouted as Jimmy anxiously paced around the room, "Haven't you heard the news? The Lost Empire is in ruins! What do you expect to find there?!"
"Oh, I don't know, the corpse of my daughter maybe?!" Jimmy yelled back.
"And what if they escaped?"
"Then we will bake a cake, hang up some flags and throw a party!"
Lizzie rolled her eyes, "It's not safe!"
"Do you have a better idea?!"
"Go visit all the empires and ask around about them!"
Jimmy angrily looked for a while at her before sighing, "Fine."
Lizzie let out a relieved sigh, let's go to the Overgrown first then, I'm sure Katherine would want to help us! And her daughter is also in Crystal Cliffs Academy right?"
———
"Finally." Jimmy huffed as he stepped off his own horse, Lizzie soon followed, they tied the leashes of the horses to a tree branch and walked the last part of the way to the Overgrown.
Pity they came a little too late...
Lizzie's eyes widened as she stumbled backward, tripped over her own feet, and fell to the ground, tears began to form in her eyes as soon as she saw the chaos and destruction in the Overgrown, it had been burned to the ground.
Jimmy's expression changed from annoyance to sadness, he turned his head away and started to slump back towards the horses, giving Lizzie some space to grief.
Lizzie laughed through her tears, "No, she's not dead, Katherine is smart, surely she would've found a way to escape! There's no way she's dead! She doesn't deserve it!
Sadly, death doesn't care if someone deserves it or not.
Lizzie locked out all the thoughts that said otherwise and walked back to Jimmy and the horses, reassured by her own denial.

Autumns PoV
Autumn woke up in the middle of a big forest, they had been sleeping under the stars.
She blinked a few times and yawned before getting up, she looked at the position of the sun, it should be around 7 o'clock right now, she was lucky her father taught her that.
She looked at Ocean who was still peacefully sleeping and the empty spot next to her.
...
"...Sun?"
"Sun!"Ocean jolted awake, "Geez, do you mind? I was just having a nice dream!"
"Sun's gone!"
"What?!" Ocean jumped up and looked down at the empty spot next to her, "Seriously?!"

Achan's PoV
Achan frowned as one of the guards handed him a letter, he was told that it was from Rivendell, they managed to shoot the owl out of the sky when it was on its1 way to Mezelea.
Dear Emperors,
My daughter, Autumn, is missing, if any of you would be so kind to look out for her and tell me if you know where she is, that would be great.
-Scott Major, King of RivendellThe brunette didn't know if he should react or not, yes, he felt bad for the king of Rivendell but in the meantime, if his father or himself would've send a letter to Rivendell they would toss it in the fireplace without even opening it.
He eventually crumbled the paper and threw it away, not his problem.
