Chapter 7

Autumns PoV

"...Evan, the king of Mythland...has gone missing."

"Good morning Ocean." Autumn said as she walked into the dining room.

"Morning!" She said as she looked up from her breakfast, "Where's Sun?"

"Still in her room, she's a real sleepyhead." Autumn chuckled, while she sat down next to Ocean.

"Morning mom!" Ocean said as Lizzie walked into the room, "Morning..." Lizzie yawned as she walked straight to the coffee machine. "Morning Autumn."

Lizzie sat down with a huge cup of coffee and started reading the newspaper, not even bothering to touch the plate full of food in front of her.

"Where's dad?" Ocean asked.
"Grounded."
Ocean and Autumn both raised an eyebrow.
"I'll bring him some food after I'm done-"

Lizzie's eyes suddenly widened while she almost spat out her coffee.

"What the..."

"Mom? Is something wrong?" Ocean asked.

Lizzie hesitated for a second before giving her the newspaper, "Read for yourself."

Ocean accepted the newspaper as she shoved another cookie into her mouth.

RECENTLY, THE ONE AND ONLY DEMON XORNOTH HAS BEEN SPOTTED IN THE LOST EMPIRE AND THE UNDERGROVE, TOGETHER WITH SIGNS OF CORRUPTION IN RIVENDELL, WHILE THE KING OF MYTHLAND HAS GONE MISSING.

HOWEVER, THE SITUATION IN THE EMPIRES HAS BECOME EVEN WORSE; THE CROPS IN GILDED HELIANTHIA ARE DYING, THE TEMPERATURE IN RIVENDELL IS RISING RAPIDLY, AND THERE ARE RUMORS ABOUT THE OCEAN SLOWLY DRYING UP.

CITIZENS ARE ADVISED TO STAY INSIDE AND STAY AWAY FROM ANY SIGNS OF CORRUPTION.

NEXT WEEK: UPDATE ON THE SITUATION IN ALL THE EMPIRES.

This time it was Ocean's turn to almost choke on her cookie, "The ocean is what?!" She shouted while Autumn snatched the newspaper away from her to read it for herself.

"Drying up." Lizzie sighed as she looked through the window, "We're all gonna die!" Ocean shouted while she stood up and ran through the room. "We're all gonna die!!"

Autumn finally finished reading and stood up to join Ocean, "We're all gonna dieeeee!!!!"

"Relax! We're NOT going to die okay?"
"What?! I'm too young to die!" Joel shouted as he walked into the room.
"Joel you're grounded! Get back to my room!"
"But I just heard I'm going to die! I want to speak to my therapist!"

"Morning-" Sun's mouth fell open as she saw the chaos that was happening in the room.

Autumn and Ocean were frantically running around the room and screaming that they were going to die while Joel was sobbing on the telephone and Lizzie was trying to calm them down.

"What's going on?" Sun asked.
"We're going to die!!!!"
"You're not going to...you know what, I give up."

Lizzie sighed, this was going to be a long long day.

Hi guys I know this is a very short chapter but I'm on vacation right now so I don't have very much time to write and I just wanted to upload something.
