Cedric diggory (fluff)

Ever since you got In a car crash when you where 13 you've been deaf, which means you still know how to talk but you decided not to talk and only use sign language in case you say something wrong without realizing it. You where knows for having the voice of and angle when you sing but ever since the car crash you have never said a word.

You just moved so you are new at Hogwarts your part of the 7th years. On your first day at Hogwarts a certain boy caught your eye, and that boy was Cedric Diggory.

One day when you where at lunch you sat down at your house name) table reading a book and then Cedric and his friends walked over to talk to there friends from (your house) they where sitting next to you, you a phenomenal lip reader and you could tell some of the boys where making fun of you but then Cedric hit both of them on the back of there head and gave them a death stare.

They went back to there conversation and you continued reading your book then you felt someone tap your shoulder. You looked over and saw it was Cedric he handed you a piece of paper you opened it to see what it said.

"Sorry about them there a bunch of thick heads"

You smile then grab a piece of paper and pencil and wrote back to him

"Thank you for making them stop"

A couple days go on and you and him normally sit together at lunch and write notes to each other to communicate till one day he saw you doing sign language with dumb door. He was amazed at the language so he asked dumber dorm if he could teach him and he said yes , from then on everyday for 3 months after classes he would go to him so he could learn.

After a couple of months you and Cedric grew very close and one day he sat down with you at lunch while you and your friends sat with you they where taking and you where reading a book at the end of the group as always then as clock work right at 1:35 Cedric sat down next to you.

What happened next amazed you, he signed "hello love, how is your day" and all your friends just stared at him a shock and so did his friends. You blushed at him calling you love then signed back "my day was good, when did you learn how to sign" you asked still flabbergasted. He replied by signing "Professor Dumbuldor taught me for the past 3 months".

Then he signed this to you "now that I can communicate a little easier I can finally ask you a question I've been waiting for" he was hesitant first then he continued signing "will you go out with me?" He signed nervously. You look at him with your eyes widened. Then your replied "Yes of course I will"

A couple years later ~

You and Cedric are now engaged and they finally found a spell to get your hearing back so you and him where sitting in the doctors office for wizards and witches waiting for the doctor. Soon the doctor walked in and told Cedric "remember there is still a chance it might not work" then Cedric replied "that's completely fine we just want to try".

Then the doctor handed you a potion and you looked over to Cedric who signed to you "I'll be here when you wake up ok, I love you" you smile at what he just signed and then you took the potion and everything went black.

You woke up to the feeling of Cedric's hand in yours and you looked over to see him reading a book, you sat up a little making him turn to realize you woke up his breathing a quick and you heard him breathing, a couple of tears fell down your face, then he quickly signed "are you ok, how are you feeling".

you giggle at how concerned he is then you took a deep breath in and said "You don't have to sign I can hear you my love", he looked at you in complete awh, he has never heard your voice before and he could have sworn it sounded like heaven. He quickly kissed you then touched foreheads and repeatedly said "I love you, I love you, I love you" with tears streaming down his face. For the first time in years you finally heard someone say something to you and the first words where, "I love you".
