- Kara's Pov -
I unpack another box while ignoring my father who is stood the other side of the kitchen island trying to tell me that moving to Fork's will be the best for me but he just doesn't get how hard it will be for me to be so far away from him and his friends or work colleagues as he calls them but those guys have been family to me ever since dad found out about him being adopted and ran off leaving me in uncle Thor's care that was 10 years ago. Now i am being forced to move because the avenger's are going their own ways, uncle Thor is going back to Asgard to be king and dad is going to travel around midgard for the first time since he came here. I don't want to travel with him and i couldn't stay at the tower seeing as everyone is leaving that place so here i am in a small rainy town of Fork's till dad has finished his travels.
"Darling you can't ignore me forever" Dad said snapping ne out my thoughts
"I can try dad! I don't want to be alone again! To be without you!" I said with a tear rolling down my cheek which patch licks off with her long snake tounge
"You aren't alone and never will be darling, you have your Stark phone and the secure social media app that was made by Tony himself for us avenger's and the supernatural where you can post whatever you want to show me, thor and the avenger's what you are doing without the public finding out the extent of your power's" He said calmly
"It won't be the same, I'm so used to seeing you all every day all day" I said still silently crying while unpacking
"I know darling but maybe while your here you can find your soulmate and to be at peace with your frost giant side just like i have" He said softly while leaning over the kitchen island only to cup my face with his hands
"I'm a monster dad there's no reason for my soulmate to want me or to find peace" I said with tears streaming down my face which he trys to wipe away with his thumb
"You are not a monster don't ever call yourself that! You my special beautiful baby girl who is the goddess of snow and ice aswell as a front giant! You show the people of Fork's how beautiful, strong and powerful Kara Lokisdottir truly is" He said sternly making me look into his forest green eyes
