- Chapter 6: That made me snap -

- Kara's Pov -

Looking at my soulmate it's like i can't breath my chest is that tight all i want to do is run and hide to not hear his rejection because i know he isn't going to want me now he knows i'm Loki's daughter the same daughter who is a frost giant. Suddenly he just disappear's infront od my eyes like he was never there in the first place then i notice all the other vampire's have gone too even Jasper which makes my heart break. I snuggle back my head into dad's chest while trying to push the tears away because i knew my soulmate would leave me but i didn't know it would hurt this much. I feel dad wrap his arms around me then i feel nauseous which only happens if dad teleports so i grab a handfull of his armour with both hands and hold him tightly untill this nauseous feeling passes.

"You do not get to hurt my mate or try to keep her away from me! She is mine and mine alone!" My mate said angrily and i could tell it was my mate because just hearing his voice sends a shiver down my spine

"She deserved everything i did to her since she is your mate and she is a monster just like you!" Edward said angrily

"Dad don't" I said feeling dad tense

"You don't get to call my daughter monster! She is the most amazing, kind, gentle, caring, loving, shy and the perfect daughter so if anyone is a monster it's you because you attacked my daughter unprovoked. You call her a monster when she is one of the people that saved this world more times then i would like to count so if she is a monster why would she have saved the world without a single thought oh i know why because she is the princess of asgard, the goddess of ice and snow and she is the daughter of the god of mischief and lies" Dad snapped out in complete rage and i look up at him in shock because i've never heard such rage come from his voice

"You have not only angered the volturi but you have also angered the asgardian's" Demetri said with a hiss at the end and just hearing his voice has me wanting him to hold me tightly

"Demetri please let him go so we can handle his punishment in a civilised manner, i am not going to let him get away with this at all after all Kara is royalty so his actions need to be punished" Esme said softly yet sternly

"Demetri come here Kara needs you!" Dad said snapping him out of whatever state he was in

"Love?" Demetri asked softly and i turn around only to see him letting go of Edward's throat leaving him on the floor

"C-Can you h-hug me?" I stuttered while blushing

"Of course, i will hug you anytime you want one!" He said and suddenly he is lifting me up holding me close to his chest and i quickly wrap my legs around his waist then put my arms around his neck

"Sister are you okay? I'm so sorry for leaving like i did! I swear that will not happen again!" Jasper said worriedly as he stands next to Alice

"I'm fine just don't please don't leave me like that again, i thought you didn't want me as your sister anymore" I said with a pout

"I will always want you as my sister" He said firmly making me smile

"Right Edward you saw what happens when mate's are apart but it would have been worse for Kara since she is a goddess. There has to be another reason for you to want to keep Demetri and Kara apart it can't just be because you think Demetri is a monster so tell us your really reason" Aro said firmly

"I wanted her to fight for us! She has the power's to take all our enemy's out without injury, she would have made a great asset to us! Her being Demetri's mate and her being a blue freak ruined my plan to use her to defeat you!" Edward said angrily

"My daughter is no freak she is a goddess!" Dad snapped angrily

"She is a freak just like you!" Edward snarled and that made me snap

I jump out of Demetri's arms and storm over to Edward who funny enough is still laying on the floor on his side from Demetri's attack. When i get to him i kick him straight in the stomach with my asgardian strength sending him flying backwards into the closest wall. I rush over to him and repeatedly punch him in his face with the same strength i used to kick him with making cracks appear all over his face. Suddenly i lifted in the air and held against someone's chest, i try to fight to get out their arms to teach Edward what happens when he insults my dad but their hold on me is to strong.

"Snowflake calm down you have gone full frost giant" Dad says softly as he tightens his hold on me

"No, he insulted you and has to pay the price! No-one and i mean no-one insults my father and gets away with it! So what if i've gone full frost giant i will not have him call you a freak!" I said angrily

"You have shown him not to do it again and hopefully he won't be that stupid to do it again just calm down so your mate can hug you and he can't do that while your in this form so please calm down princess" He said softly

"D-Demetri?" I asked softly as i changed back into my normal form

"I'm here love, I've got you and I'm not letting you go unless it's to clean your knuckles" He said as he takes me out dad's arms and holds me in his own

"Now Edward it seems that Kara has took care of you for now but Demetri has permission to say here so if he informs us of you stepping out of line again your punishment will be more severe" A black haired vamp said sternly making Edward gulp as he layed on the floor

"Your staying?" I asked happily

"Yes before i found out your are my mate i was going to stay here to protect you but i'm now staying with you because our bond will not allow me to be to far away" He said then kissed my forehead

"Do you still want me after seeing who i really am?" I asked nervously

"Of course i do! Your amazing, beautiful and badass! Why on earth wouldn't i want you!" He said honestly making me smile
