One thing about getting a taste of something sweet is that you get addicted. Earth wouldn't really say that he has a sweet tooth but when it comes to Mix's lips he had. It's addicting kissing him, something too powerful for words and with the addiction comes the fear of losing this.

As Mix angles his head to deepen the kiss between them Earth can't help but tighten the hold he has on Mix's neck before putting a hand on his chest to put some space between them, he had to otherwise he couldn't resist.

"Is that enough payment?" Earth whispered between them, matching Mix's smile. From this close Earth can see Mix's eyes as they come in and out of focus as if he was in a daze, his eyes always looking like they had stars in them. "Was I that good that I made you forget what you had to say?" Earth teased, he received a playful shove on his shoulder as well as a scoff from Mix. "I was just surprised that's all," he said, "I think I figured out why there was a book by Erickson on the crime scene, but I need to show you at my apartment why it makes sense, my books are there". Earth hummed taking Mix's hand in his before leaning down to lay a kiss on his temple "Then let's go".

It was nearing 6 pm when they arrived at Mix's apartment, the flower shop next to his door preparing to close down. This time the outside was lined with red roses covering every space and shelf. It was the first time that Earth wasn't just dropping Mix off but instead following him as they made their way up the stairs. The stairs were made of fine white marble in contrast to his apartment, with lights lining every floor. Mix's apartment being at the very top, the sixth floor to be exact.

To say that Earth felt out of place would be putting it lightly, as he gazed upon the spotless white furniture inside the first room, lined with red carpets and ornamental vases on shelves. Various Paintings lined the walls dimming the natural light that was entering through the opposite balcony door and windows. And the flowers. The apartment was basically brimming with flowers, daisies, roses, chrysanthemums, daffodils and other flowers that Earth didn't even know the name of. He was sure that more flowers were present on the balcony, the hints of bright green leaves peeking through the balcony door.

"How did you even stand one second in my apartment?" Earth asked unable to help himself from again taking a look at all the decorations that most probably Earth couldn't afford, he followed Mix through one of the side doors made of a deep rich wood.

"Why would I not?" Mix asked instead, he had led them to his personal study, the room in contrast to the other filled with furniture made from oak and lined with hundreds and hundreds of shelves filled with books.

"You have nothing to be ashamed of, I hope you know that, and I hope that you know that I don't care about class" Mix answered seriously, he gave one last look to Earth before he started searching through the shelves humming to himself.

"I know that but it's still a little intimidating to see the difference" Earth answered honestly. He was almost afraid to sit on one of the armchairs present as the green velvet looked very expensive Earth thought but at Mix's glare, he immediately sat down.

"I didn't bring you here to feel uncomfortable in my presence" Mix said finally, a book was tucked under his arm as he made his way next to Earth's side. "Then why did you bring me here for?" Earth asked, In answer Mix dropped the book he was holding on the table in front of them, the thud resounding through the stillness of the room "This" he answered playfully making sure that he had Earth's full attention.

"Tell me what the ages of the victims were again" Mix demanded, he started turning the pages of the heavy book focused on finding the right section. "13,21, 34 and 55 years old...why?" Earth asked.
