Abhi had stayed downstairs with Manish and Kairav while Akshu had gone upstairs to spend time with Mimi in her room. He wanted to give them space...he wanted to give Akshu the time she needed with her great grandmother...the time she needed to heal. But, after a few hours passed, he got worried about her. He could not help but get anxious if she was away from him for too long, so he politely excused himself, saying that he wanted to go check on Akshu. Manish and Kairav immediately understood, telling him that it was late anyways and they would talk to him in the morning...they told him that Aarohi was out for the night and that the room was all their's...he hugged both of them goodnight and quietly headed upstairs...

And when he reached Mimi's room, he saw a sight that overwhelmed him so much, touched his heart so greatly that he felt his eyes watering up. He saw Akshu asleep in Mimi's arms, Mimi gently patting her head, gently stroking her hair. Mimi looked up at him and smiled, gesturing for him to come sit on the bed. He shook his head and looked on, taking in the sight of his wife entirely at peace...entirely at rest. Mimi whispered to him telling him that she would go sleep in the other room, asking him to come sleep beside Akshu.

"Nahi, Mimi. Akshu ko dekho...woh aap ke saath itni khush hai..usko abhi aap ki zarurat hai..." He whispered back, tenderly pulling the blanket up to Akshu's chest, making sure she was warm and comforted. He told Mimi that he would go sleep in the other room and to not worry...that he knew she would take good care of his Akshu, and he knew that his Akshu wanted to be in her Mimi's arms right now.

But, as he walked down the hall, he could not get himself to leave her alone...he could not get himself to let her be out of his sight for the entire night...so, after several minutes of debating whether or not to go back inside, he finally found himself back at Mimi's door. Seeing that Mimi had also fallen asleep, he quietly walked over to the rocking chair in the corner of the room and sat down. The moon was shining softly upon Akshu's face..staring at his angel so beautifully asleep, he got everything he needed in life. He rocked back and forth on the chair, his heart entirely at ease...his soul happier than it had been since the day she left him...and before he realized it, he fell fastly asleep, dreaming of her and only her...
