(Jimin's POV)
As the sun peered through Jing-Mi's blinds, I slowly opened my eyes to find her still sleeping soundly in my arms. Her hair a mess, drool on her cheek...but I didn't care, she is beautiful to me. I snickered quietly as I leaned down and gently kissed her cheek. I then quietly eased myself out of her bed and started walking down the hallway towards the bathroom. As I glanced in the living room, Taehyung was no longer on the couch. I looked around and it seemed like everyone else was still fast asleep.
I grabbed the bathroom door with my hand and slowly opened it, and Taehyung was standing right in front of me half-naked with a towel wrapped around his waist. We both jumped about ten feet in the air. Taehyung put his hand on his chest and I started laughing as I thought about how stupid we had to have looked.
"Jimin! What the hell!" Taehyung hissed as he started to laugh. "You scared the hell out of me!"
"You scared me too, Taehyung!" I laughed quietly. "I didn't expect you to be in the bathroom this early."
"All good, all good." Taehyung chuckled. Then Taehyung awkwardly coughed and stepped out of the bathroom, allowing me to enter. He turned back around to face me and pressed his lips together. The look on his face told me he had something on his mind.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," he muttered. Within seconds, Taehyung was gone and I heard the door shut. I shook my head and shut the bathroom door behind me.
.........
Several hours later, Jing-Mi along with Tae's mom and sister went out to go on a little shopping trip. Tae's dad reluctantly went with them, so now it was just Taehyung and I at the house. I could still tell that there was something he was wanting to say. His facial expression said it all. As he and I sat in silence, aside from the ticking of the clock, I needed to figure out some way to get him to talk.
Then, the light bulb went off in my head.
"Hey Taehyung, since Jing-Mi is out with your mom and sister, do you want to go for a drive?" I asked. Taehyung stood up from the couch and turned to face me.
"Sure," Taehyung replied. Within a few minutes, we both walked out of Taehyung's childhood home and we were both in my car. As I pulled out of the driveway, I turned on the radio and immediately, Eyes, Nose, Lips by Taeyang started playing. I furrowed my eyebrows and immediately switched the station. Then, Sorry, Sorry by Super Junior started playing and I switched it again. Lastly, Lay By Your Side by Sam Smith started playing--I groaned and just shut the radio off completely.
"Taehyung, can I ask you something?" I asked as I continued to drive.
"You technically just did, but go ahead, shoot." Taehyung chuckled. Then Taehyung's widened and his boxy smile quickly formed on his face. "Jimin, pull over--our secret pirate hideaway must still be out here somewhere. If I remember correctly, it's right about....here."
Without even realizing, I had unintentionally driven towards a remnant of mine and Taehyung's early childhood. It was whenever his parents had brought us to this nearby park--it wasn't a big park by any means, it was small yet quaint--the perfect spot for a family picnic. And...it was a fun spot for Taehyung and I's imaginations run wild, especially after watching One Piece as kids. We wanted to be pirates so badly, like the Straw Hat crew themselves.
