The beeping of machines fills Claire's senses as her eyes slowly peel open, blinking away the harsh fluorescent lights that were above her. She slowly looks around, recognizing the room as the medbay in the Avengers compound.

She sits up, her eyes scanning the room only to find it empty. She disattached the wires that were attached to her body and quickly turned the monitors off so that they wouldn't alert anyone of her flatline.

She stood slowly, carefully looking around to make sure nobody was hiding before she swiped a small pocket knife from one of the tables. She crept out of the lab and down the halls, knowing her way around from all the times she had walked these halls.

"FRIDAY said she flatlined!" A voice shouts and she quickly goes into a room, hiding behind the wall as people rush past her and once they turn the corner she creeps out of the room, knife at the ready.

She made it into the living room, not noticing anyone. However, she couldn't help but take notice of the amount of baby stuff throughout the room. A crib, a dresser that had a changing station and diapers as well as wipes on top of it and miscellaneous baby toys.

"Welcome back Claire." A voice says around her and she takes a moment to adjust to hearing FRIDAY again.

The last thing she remembers was being in the bottomless black pit of her mind and then all of a sudden she was attacked from behind by something unknown and she woke up here.

"Who are you?" A voice says from behind her and Claire whirls around to face a redheaded female that she did not know. Her knife immediately came up, ready to attack the woman in an instant, her eyes narrowing and her feet taking place in a defensive stance.

She puts her hands up quickly, showing Claire that she had no weapons on her and swallowing thickly. However Claire was thoroughly surprised she kept her composure as well as she did and yet it made her all the more suspicious. Any normal civilian would be frightened by the look of Claire.

"You're Claire, Wanda's wife." The woman states, however, it wasn't a question which put Claire even more on edge. How did this woman that she didn't know, know this information? "I'm Addison Montgomery, I've been helping take care of your daughter."

"My daughter is still safely in my wifes stomach. She's only a few months along." Claire says coldly, inching closer towards Addison who was eyeing the knife in Claire's hand carefully and praying to every god above that someone would figure it out soon enough and would come help her. It didn't help her that Claire had no idea who she was.

"Claire, how long do you think it's been since Wanda entered your mind?" Addison asks slowly, taking another step back as Claire takes two forwards.

"A couple days at most." Claire responds and Addison bit her cheek, not wanting to be the one to break the news to Claire of how long she'd been out for. She didn't want to be there alone with her if she decided that she was going to attack under the fact she thought Addison was lying.

"And how long do you think it's been since HYDRA took you?"

"A few months, one or two maybe three. How do you know about HYDRA and how do you know Wanda went into my mind?" Claire asks, doubling back on the fact that Addison knew more than she should.

"Claire!" A voice shouts, and Claire turns around to see Wanda standing there looking out of breath and considerably less pregnant from the last time Claire had seen her. "It's me, it's Wanda. Drop the knife, she's a friend not a foe."

"Wanda?"

"I'm here, it's okay." Wanda breathes out, her hands held out to show Claire that she wasn't an enemy. "Just drop the knife."
