Wanda awoke after eighteen hours with Steve sitting next to her. He had informed her about what had happened and she wasn't exactly happy about the fact that she wouldn't be able to go back into Claire's mind if they needed her to. At least not until the baby was born. Now it was just a waiting game on seeing when Claire would wake up.

The sedative had worn off ten hours ago and yet Claire was still asleep. Wanda had hoped that the box she had found and opened was the exact thing that Claire needed to get her memories back but there was no explanation to why she was still asleep.

"No change?" Kate questions as Bruce walks out of the cell and he shakes his head, putting his hands in his lab coat.

"Everything's normal. Her brain waves are as they should be but she's just not waking up. I checked the stones, they don't have any effect on her. I have no answers."

"I'll tell Wanda." Kate says and Bruce shakes his head, putting a hand on the teenager's shoulder. "I'll tell her. There's no need for her to go and get mad at you."

"She shouldn't get mad at you either though." Kate tries to reason and Bruce lets out a soft chuckle.

"It's okay kid, I'd rather her be mad at me than at you." He says before walking away, leaving Kate to look at Claire, her eyebrows knitted together in worry and sadness. She glances back to where Bruce had just disappeared around the corner before pushing the cell door open and walking in, sitting down in one of the chairs next to the bed.

"Hey Claire... It's me, uh Kate." She says hesitantly, fiddling with her fingers as she looks at the sleeping Claire. "I know we don't really know each other all that well, you've barely ever talked to me before but I understand it, I'm a teenager and you like your space. But Wanda, Nat and Yelena really need you. In fact the entire team needs you. If you don't come back then those three won't be able to focus on the work they need to focus on and then the rest of us won't be able to focus either. You're like the glue that holds us all together in your own way. You're really scary but you always know what to do and when to do it without having to take a lot of time to think it over. We need you back." She says, her eyes flicking to the heart monitor but no change happened at all.

Kate lets out a sigh, standing from the chair and going to the door. Before opening the door she glances one last time at the monitors before leaving the room and going back up to the main floor. When she got there Wanda was storming past Bruce and towards the elevator, getting on it with an angry and tearful look on her face as Bruce just hung his head.

"I'll take it you told her." Kate says, walking over and sitting down on one of the large couches next to Clint who wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Didn't go very well." Clint says and Kate just nods, leaning her head into the crook of Clint's shoulder. The two were like a father daughter pair and Kate always went home with him every time he went back to visit his family.

"Excuse me, Mr. Barton, Miss Bishop and Mr. Banner, your presence is being requested in the briefing room by Mr. Rogers." FRIDAY's voice says throughout the room and the three look at each other before Clint and Kate get up, following behind Bruce as they walk towards the briefing room.

"What's this about?" Kate asks, looking up at Clint who just shrugs, opening the door to the briefing room as they walk in, seeing the rest of the group besides Wanda sitting in their respective chairs.

"What's this about, Steve?" Bucky questions, leaning back in his chair as he looks at his best friend.

"We're needed on a mission, and before any of you object I'm aware that this is an inconvenient time especially with everything going on with Claire." He says and a few of the team members grumble.
