Yelena's party quickly went from amazing to horrible in five seconds flat. When they got back it was joyful for about five minutes before Yelena noticed that Claire was not with everyone and had asked Wanda where she was. It took about five seconds for Wanda to breakdown crying and tell them what had happened.
Now Yelena and Nat were worried and fuming, Wanda was crying and the rest of the group just didn't know what to think. "Tony try to track her phone." Yelena says, her arms folded across her chest, face set in stone.
"I already have, she has it off." He replies and Yelena mutters a string of curse words in Russian.
"She didn't give you any clue as to where she could have gone?" Melina asks Wanda and she shakes her head, wiping her eyes.
"The only thing she brought with her was two duffel bags."
"Two?" Kate asks and Wanda nods. "Why would she need two? We only ever need one, even on solo missions." Wanda just shrugs, and Nat punches a balloon, scaring a few of the Avengers as it pops loudly.
"Just fucking find her." She growls out, stalking out of the room as everyone watches her and then disperses to try and track Claire down. Yelena walks over to Wanda who looks up at her.
"I know you don't like to do it, but I need you to use your powers to search for her." She tells Wanda who just nods, taking a deep, shuddering breath before closing her eyes. Yelena watches as red spreads around Wanda.
Five minutes later Wanda opens her eyes again, tears pooling in her eyes. "I can't find her. It's like she doesn't even exist at all. Everything's been blocked off. I can't even find a glimpse of her." She says and Yelena pulls her in for a hug, trying to keep herself composed as well.
"Alright, we'll find her Wanda just stay calm, okay?" Yelena says, pulling away from Wanda who just nods. Steve walks over, pulling Wanda too him and Yelena leaves in search to find her older sister who she finds in the briefing room furiously typing away on her computer while she was on the phone.
"Fury, I don't care what you're doing, get off your ass and find her!" She shouts into the phone not bothering to look up as Yelena walks in.
"Natasha, if I could I would but we're dealing with a massive outbreak of murders right now from a third party. I will put a few agents on the case but until I get this handled there's not much else that I can do for you right now." He says and out of anger Nat hangs up the phone with a huff.
"No luck?" Yelena asks and Nat shakes her head no. "Have you tried her phone again?"
"Fifteen times, still goes straight to voicemail. Any luck with Wanda?"
"None. She couldn't find her or any clues at all. Steve went to calm her down when I came over here."
"That's good. Stress isn't good for the baby."
"We need to find her, Nat. Something is seriously wrong. She's never lied like this before, especially about a mission.
"I know. Tony's working as well on trying to find her on any security cameras but so far there's no luck. We're just going to have to be patient with this one."
Yelena sighs, knowing that her older sister was right. If Claire wanted to be found, they would have found her.
VASQUEZ'S MANSION
TWO WEEKS LATERThe cell door opens with a loud creak, waking Claire out of her light slumber, her body protesting in anguish as she moves to lift her head. She couldn't quite be sure how much time had passed since she had been locked up in here since there were no windows or clocks in the room.
