Wanda was sucked in, her surroundings twisting and turning until she was standing in darkness, her feet in pitch black water. Mist swirled around her as she looked around. "Claire?" Wanda calls out, her voice echoing throughout the darkness.
"Wanda?" A weak voice calls from behind her and she turns, her eyes widening as she takes in the sickly appearance of the Claire she loved.
She rushed forwards, going to embrace Claire but running straight through her instead. "You can't hold me here, Wanda. I'm a ghost here."
"Claire, you have to tell me how I can help you! Everyone's worried. You don't remember who any of us are!"
"I'm not in control, Wanda. I don't have control of my mind anymore. You have to go and find me, you have to find my memories and pull them out so that she goes away."
"Who's she?"
"The dark me. The one that HYDRA created. My memories were pushed into the deepest parts of my brain when they put me through that machine. For some reason no matter how much they tried I couldn't forget you so I faked that I had. I faked it for so long that I started believing that I didn't know who you were. I slowly forgot and pushed you and all our memories into a small box at the deepest parts of my brain."
"How do I find them?"
"I don't know. You have to look for them Wanda. Trust your gut and if it doesn't work and the dark me takes over, you need to kill me."
"What-"
"Wanda." Claire says, walking forwards and looking at her wife. "Promise me, if this doesn't work. Promise me that you'll eliminate me. It's no life if I can't remember who you are and if I'm just hurting you."
"No! I won't kill you! I can't! We're having a daughter." Wanda says, tears rolling down her cheeks. Claire smiles sadly, looking down at Wanda's stomach.
"Name her Adelei. Lei for short."
"Adelei, I like it." Wanda says, a tearful smile gracing her lips.
"Promise me, Wanda. Promise me you'll do as I've asked."
"I- I promise." Wanda whispers out and Claire smiles before turning and walking into the shadows, disappearing from Wanda's view altogether. She takes a shuddering breath, wiping her eyes before walking in the opposite direction and towards the pull she felt.
It felt like she was walking for forever until she suddenly stepped off of an invisible cliff and went falling, her screams getting caught in her throat as she fell and landed in a brightly lit hallway. She stands up slowly, keeping a hand on her belly as she looks around.
There were white doors lining the hallway going down as far as she could see, each labeled with a memory. She started walking, reading all of the memories until she came to a black door. She stopped in front of it and took a deep breath, slowly reaching out and turning the doorknob, effectively opening the door.
She stepped inside, the door shutting behind her. Wanda took a deep breath, walking further into the darkness until memories seemed to appear in front of her. Memories she had never even known about. Times from when Claire was in the red room. She felt a pull and the scenery changed. She was in the red room, standing in front of Dreykov but from Claire's perspective and her point of view.
"Claire, it's good to see you again." Dreykov states, a sly smirk on his face and I had no idea why. I felt like I should remember something from before I woke up and yet there was nothing there. All it was is blank, no memories, nothing. I'm pulled out of my thoughts as Dreykov starts to talk again. "You're to train for the next month, learn each of the Avengers fighting ways so that you're able to beat them and get the rest of the vials, understood?" Madame B states, her voice cold with a hint of annoyance present.
