I roll over in the bed staring at the ceiling it's been a whole two weeks since he said he wanted to kiss me and two weeks and three days since my crush on him develop more I can't get him out of my head it's like he's a magnet stuck to my brain.

I roll out the bed hitting the floor "Ow" but I quickly recovered as I walk into the bathroom doing my morning routine and heading downstairs when I see him cooking so I turn around slowly going back upstairs what I haven't said is that I've been avoiding him.

I guess he noticed when he called out to me "You've been avoiding me love I'd like to know why" I stop walking up the stairs and turned to him "Y'know work and stuff" I look at everything but him.

I see him walking up the stairs which makes me take steps back until my back hits the wall I look at the wall behind him "Look at me when I'm talking to you" When I don't fully meet his eye he goes grab my chin forcing me to look at him "why have you been avoiding me?hm" I didn't know what to say It was like my mind went blank "Cat got your tongue" I couldn't think right why does he have this effect on me.

He finally lets go I let out a breath as I walk back into my room closing the room door as I flop down on the bed I soon get a text from Inanna.

Inanna: hey are you up

Me: yes I'm up

Inanna: so like I'm having a girl's night tonight wanna join

Me: yeah and also my friend is coming into town I was wondering if she could stay here if that's okay with you

Inanna: umm yes I would love to meet your friend maybe we can all do the girl's night tonight

I also told her about what happened with her brother she's been smiling at me since she got back with her friend, me and her friend clicked instantly we all have the same things in common.

Nicholas was still here I don't know why he was, he usually left around this time.

There was a knock at the door I assume it was Kelsey so I go answer it she jumps on me which makes me fall to the floor "Ow Kelly" is her nickname for me "Omg I missed you I thought I was going to die without you" I laughed at her exaggeration "I missed you too" she finally got off me.

I get up off the floor dusting myself off "Hey I'm Kelsey  Anderson" she says in a bubbly tone she was all rainbows and happiness she reminds me of pinkie pie from My Little Pony.

I sit on the couch not noticing he was beside me I soon felt the couch rise beside me "Well I have to go see ya sis, Jade, and Kelsey" I noticed he didn't say my name was he mad that I've been avoiding him I hear the door slam why did my heart break was I that in love with him.

Inanna comes to sit by me "Hey are you okay" I nod "Tell me what's wrong with you" I look at her "Well I've been avoiding him since he said he would love to kiss me I panicked I don't know why but I did and now he hates me" she brings me into a hug I expected to cry on the shoulder but I didn't I was numb.

Shit, I fucked up I shouldn't have gotten mad over a situation that could've simply been diffused but I let it get to me now she's probably not going to talk to me anymore I get a text message from my sister.

Sister: you asshole what's wrong with you

Me: I was mad she was avoiding me I know I fucked up

Sister: You had the perfect girl in your life and you blew it up because she was avoiding you, really how dumb are Nick

Me: I know I'll try to make it up to her

Sister: you better or she's gone from your life

I will handle it once I get done killing this fucker that owes me money.

I walk into the man's house it honestly stinks in here I pull out my gun as I see him on the couch completely drunk "Hey pompous bastard you owe me money where is it?" he jolts up I could see the color drain from his face "uh-uh I didn't make any money this time how about next time" I chuckled I don't give people second chances I shoot him in the head ending him quickly.

I step on a picture frame on the floor I pick the picture up holding it in the light it was Melody my eyes widen as I drop the picture this man was her dad and I just killed him.

I rush to my car shit fucking shit I couldn't think my brain was fucking blank maybe if I don't go over there for a while no they then will ask if I'm okay shit what if I just tell her maybe that'll work or go wrong shit I should've looked more into his background.

I pull up to my house got out of the car and rushed in "shit Kaiden we have a problem" he come rushing in "What is it Nicholas" I run my hand through my hair "I killed her dad I killed Melody's dad we have to stop the news from spreading to her" he looks up from his phone panicked "you mean this news" I look at his phone and it had already been posted everywhere online shittt.

Melody Delaney

I received a call from a number I wasn't going to answer it thinking it was my dad but the number was different so I answered "Hello"— "Uh yes are you Melody Delaney"— "Yes who's asking"— "I'm sorry to inform you your father just passed away"— "what now"— "I'm sorry I'm not allowed to give out that information"— "I'm his fucking daughter I deserve to know"— "I'm sorry for your loss to miss Delaney" the woman hangs up.

I rush out the door not telling anyone where I'm going I speed through the town as I make it to my old family house the policeman tries to stop me "Let me fucking though I'm his daughter just let me through please" they don't listen then I see them bring his lifeless body out on the stretcher tears form in my eye as I fall to the ground no no no no how could this happen.

I managed to get through to the policeman I see the detectives I rush over to them "Can you just please tell me how he died" They look at me in full sorrow "Gunshot wound to the head" My heart ached it was the drug dealers he owed money too.

The lady puts a hand on my shoulder "Do you know anyone who would want to harm your dad" I nod "Drug dealers he owed them some money I'm assuming it was them" The woman jolts it down on her pad "There are a lot of drug cartels which one, was it the mafia, the Simpson cartel, or the others" I look at the lady weird, mafia's don't exist they're myths "the mafia that's not real"— "it is they're just secretive and do thing differently from the other gangs" so the mafia it is.

I walk into the house looking at how destroyed it is I look around the house when something catches my eye I look at the police they seem to be distracted I look at the detectives they are distracted too I go pick up the object it was a ring there's writing on it.
