Fluke open his eyes and shouts. He see his mother rushing. "Mom, it hurts. My neck, my cheeks ah! Mom, what's happening", Fluke panic as he touch his cheeks and neck.
Fluke shouts again as he feel the ache on his chest. It's not his heat but a different kind of pain.
After almost fifteen minutes, the pain stops. He heard his mom sobs, "I'm so sorry, baby".
Fluke feels weak but confuse, "Mom? What? Why?".
"Baby, your mate is kissing or doing something with other. Why didn't you tell me about your mate, Fluke?", his mother sobs as he hug Fluke.
Fluke choke, "Mom, I don't have a mate. I mean I never met her or him yet".
His mom push him gently, looking at the red marks on his skin, "Think. Did you met someone today? Wait, let me grab you pain killer and milk so you can sleep".
Fluke stare at the door. Did he met someone? Aside from his co-workers, Earth and Kao, he never met som- he gasps upon remembering the two men who enters the hotel. One of them is his mate and that mate is probably making out with someone. Fluke sobs upon realising what his mother said.
Fluke woke up with swollen eyes. He wore turtle neck long sleeves to cover the reddish marks on his neck. His mom help him, put some foundation to hide the one on his cheeks.
As he make his way to the La Azul hotel, he feel nervous. Thinking back, the two men yesterday used the employees door so they are working in the hotel.
The start of his shift is eight in the evening but he tends to go an hour early.
"Fluke, thank God you're here. Can you please help me bring this to the penthouse. Madam is here. She's also looking for you. Also, I've heard Ohm will be here as well", Sammy said to him as he enters the locker room for employees.
Ohm Thitiwat Ritprasert, the heir of the La Azul hotel. They never cross paths because he belongs to the higher up and Fluke always in the kitchen.
Fluke push the little cart containing tea pot and different kind of pastries. He smile, he's excited to meet Gran again. The oldy lady that he helped back then was the wife of the owner of the hotel. The old lady insist to call her "Gran" like his grandson used to call her.
La Azul is twenty storey hotel. The elevator stops at 17th floor. Some enters. He bow and asks, "Which floor, Sir?".
"19th. You smell nice"
Fluke shiver upon hearing it, "That's probably the tea, it's lavender".
"Really?", Fluke froze where he stands upon feeling the presence behind him. Invading his personal space. He look and see, the elevator going up.
The elevator stops at 19th floor but to his shocked, that someone press the close button. The elevator moves up to the 20th floor where the penthouse located.
He can still feel that someone behind him, as if sniffing and startle when he feel something wet on his ears.
