Fluke shout as he sit up, frantic looking at his surrounding. He scream again when the door suddenly burst open.
"Gran", Fluke sobs as he see the old lady and almost stumble as he remove himself from the sheet to reach her.
The old lady hug him as she said softly, "Hush! I know your scared but nothing happened. Ohm saved you in time".
He cries and cries until he smell something. Fresh leaves and mint. He still hiccups but slowly let go of the old lady, "I'm sorry, Gran. I just - "
"No need to say sorry. I understand how you feel. I want you to meet someone. He's the one who helped kick that guy's ass", she jokingly said the last part. Fluke sniff and nods.
"Hi", Fluke look at the person who speak and flinch, upon noticing him near them.
The person greeted seems offended because he step back. Tension.
"Don't worry, he maybe an alpha but he will not hurt you. He is my grandson. Ohm Thitiwat Ritprasert", the old lady slowly explained.
Fluke take a deep breathe, smell it again. Fresh leaves and mint. So refreshing. He try to look at the one who helped him. When their eyes met, he suddenly feel warm and his heart beat faster. "Mate", he whisper.
Fluke see how Ohm smile suddenly upon hearing what he just said. The guy nods.
Fluke remember the pain last night and what it means. "Thank you for saving me, Ohm. Uhm, are you going to reject me now?", Fluke sobs as he said those words
"Fluke, honey - what are you saying?", The old lady ask. Confusion is written on her face.
"Last night, I felt it. The pain, mom said it happens when your mate cheats", Fluke lower his head. He unconsciously cover his neck. Some part has been covered of his cloyhes but some part still visible with red marks.
Ohm step forward . Fluke look at him, panicking. "Stop! Get away from me! I hate you", Fluke hide behind the old lady.
Gran sighs and glared at his grandson, "Get out! Now!".
Fluke sobs, in between those cries he asks, "I'm sorry, Gran. I need to work, uhm - I need to go".
"Hush - you can take the dayoff. I'll bring you back home. I miss chatting with her anyway", Fluke nods as he follows the old lady.
Ohm waiting at the living room and stand when he saw them. Fluke step aside, away from him. Ohm's an alpha, is he mad? Is he going to hurt him as well?.
"Gran! Where are you going?", Ohm asks.
"Stay there, Ohm. We need to talk. I'll bring Fluke home", Gran said seriously.
"What! I'll be coming with you, two. I just met my mate. Fluke, please. Let me explain", Fluke heard the desperation in Ohm's voice.
They walk out the door. Fluke stops when he heard the door close. There's an ache inside of him. He look at the close door.
A warm hand touches his back. Fluke nods and follow the old lady.
