the difficult choice

Rishmi went to the doctor and the doc checked Lakshmi. And nurse took her for further tests

Rishi: is she fine doctor?

Doctor:Mr Oberoi  I won't be giving any false hopes aapki wife ki past medical history kaafi acchi nahi rahi unhe kaafi baar serious injuries hui hai and abhi unki body itni strong nahi hai that she can give birth din hi kitne hue hai unhe coma se heal hue...

Rishi: toh hume kya karna chahiye i mean usse heal karne ke. Liye...

Doctor: dekhiye Mr. Oberoi agar abhi aap iss baby ko continue karte hai toh there are 80 percent chances ki aapki wife aur baby me se delivery ke time hum kisi ek ko hi bacha sakenge. And unki pregnancy me complications hai jis wajah se unhe kaafi zyada mood swings, nausea and other symptoms of pregnancy extreme level pe face karne honge..... Maybe unhe delivery ke pehle hi extreme levels of suffering dekhna pade and she is really weak so shayad hum unhe pehle hi kho de.

Rishi got shell shocked. : Tu ab hume abortion karwana hoga.

Doc: currently toh haa aap unki conditions improve hone tak family planning na kare woh better hoga...

Rishi : aap Kal ki appointment le lijiye hum kal hi iss baby ko abort karenge.

Rishi wiped his tears and went to Lakshmi... She was there with someone's baby

Lakshmi: rishi ye dekho  ye baby kitna pyara haina iski mom abhi apne check up ke liye gayi hai so she gave him to me ....

Rishi smiled forcefully: haan cute hai ye...

Lakshmi: rishi humara baby bhi aise hi hoga na chotu sa cute sa... Mujhe toh abhi bhi believe nahi ho raha .....
Lakshmi hands the baby to rishi.
The baby starts crying.

Lakshmi kept her hand on his forehead and the baby was calm...

Rishi: ye kaise kiya tum toh magician ho mrs. Oberoi.

Lakshmi: I know dekhna jab humara baby ayega na toh woh bhi aise hi hoga me uski favorite hogi.

A woman came outside and took her baby from rishmi..

Rishmi in the car.

Lakshmi: doctor ne kya kaha rishi sab thik haina....humara baby...

Rishi: Lakshmi me wohi batana chahta hoon kal hum fir se doctor ke paas ayenge.

Lakshmi: kyu?

Rishi: Lakshmi hum iss baby ko abort kar rahe hai.

Lakshmi: kyaa..... Kisne kaha.... Aur kyu
..

Rishi told her everything.
They reached the Oberoi mansion and the car stopped.
Rishi: aur mene kal ki appointment leli hai.

Lakshmi: ye baccha sirf tumhara nahi mera bhi hai tumne mujhse puche bina isse maarne ka decision kaise le liya .

Lakshmi opened the door of the car and went crying and running to her room.

Neelam: Lakshmi kya kaha doctor ne are tum aise roote hue bhaag kyu rahi ho..

Dadi: oh fir rishi se jhagda hua...

Rishi came running behind he also went upstairs.

Dadi: ohoo firse jhagda ho raha hai dono ka.

Rishi: Lakshmi please door kholo please..

Lakshmi: nahi tum bohot bure ho.

Rishi: meri baat to suno..

Lakshmi: nahi..

Dadi and neelam came: Lakshmi kya hua hai darwaza khol do..

Rishi went to get the spare key and he opened the door and saw Lakshmi crying sitting on the bed.

Rishi hugged her and Lakshmi pushed him

Lakshmi: dur ho tum aise kaise soch sakte ho rishi tum mujhe mere baby ko  abort karne ko kaise keh sakte ho..

Dadi and neelam were furious now.
. Rishi told them everything.

Neelam was quite for a few moment then: agar baat Lakshmi ki safety ki hai toh tum dono kal abortion ke liye jaoge hospital.

Lakshmi: nahi mummy ji me... Me manage karungi me iss bacche ko duniya me lana chahti hoon..

Neelam and dadi left: rishi Lakshmi ka khyal rakho samjhao isse...

It's dinner time
.
Rishi came with the food plate.

Lakshmi was still crying in her room.

Rishi: khana khaa lo please..

Lakshmi: rishi please meri baat samjho...

Rishi: agar tumhe mujhme aurr baby se chose karna hota toh kya karti tum...

Lakshmi: tumhaari baat alag hai rishi...

Rishi: nahi Lakshmi tum mere liye utni hi important ho jitna me tumhare liye infact usse bhi zyada...

Lakshmi: but risk mujhpe haina me handle karlungi me tumhe kabhi pareshaan nahi karungi koi demands bhi nahi aur tumse jhagda bhi nahi karungi tum please iss baby ko rehne do isse kuch hua to me marr jaugi rishi....

Rishi hugs her: kuch nahi hoga tumhe.... Chalo khana khaa lo fir hum is baare me baat karenge mujhe bhi bhookh lagi hai.

Rishi feeds Lakshmi and Lakshmi feeds rishi...

Rishi gave her medicines and being tired she slept. Rishi kissed her forehead and covered her with a blanket..
