The sound of a gunshot made Robin's heart stop momentarily

The sound of a gunshot made Robin's heart stop momentarily.

The others stormed into the living room. Lori's eyes were wide with fear, all the others looked just as upset. Robin shared a look with T before she grabbed the bow and strung it over her shoulder. She headed for the door, only taking one split second to decide, "I'm gonna go look for them."

Andrea was by her side in just one short instant, nodding. "I'm coming with you."

"Don't. They could be anywhere." Lori shook her head. She hugged herself and looked back and forth between the two other women. "And if Randall comes back we're gonna need you here."

Robin looked to Andrea and sighed. She contemplated her choices here—for one, she could go out and hope that she would find Daryl or any of the others, but she was no tracker so the chances of that happening weren't as high as she wished they were. Or she could stay here, help T-Dog and Andrea make sure their group was safe.

Her eyes shifted through the room, finding Maggie's—who, too, seemed worried. Of course. Glenn was out there, too. Robin closed her eyes and sighed. She thought about the gunshot again. If something had happened to Daryl...

The hinges of the front door creaked when it opened.

Everybody whipped their heads around in anticipation, waiting to see who it was. Daryl stepped into the living room, followed closely by Glenn. Robin released a relieved breath. She scanned Daryl from head to toe, searching for any signs of bullet wounds. He seemed fine.

Their eyes met and he said, "Rick and Shane ain't back?"

"No," Lori sighed.

Daryl's gaze travelled across Robin's body. He looked at her bow, then trailed up her arm with his eyes until he met her gaze. "We heard a shot."

"So did we," Robin murmured, squirming under his gaze. "We were worried."

Daryl nodded. He opened his mouth, looking like he was ready to tell Robin that he was okay, but then Patricia spoke, "Maybe they found Randall?"
