It was Fitz. A/N Ritz Avery Cracker and boy, was he mad. "Keefe, why were you kissing my girlfriend?!" He said. That got Sophie mad. "Fitz, I'm not your girlfriend! We broke up after you made such a big deal of me being Unmatchable and me not wanting to search for my biological parents! Plus, I love Keefe, not you, now. I always have. I just didn't realize it."

Fitz looked suitably chastened. "Sophie, I'm so sorry. I just wasn't expecting you to get another boyfriend so fast." I was quick to forgive. "It's alright, Fitz."  Sophie asked Fitz "Friends?" "Friends." he affirmed

Fitz left. Elwin came in, and he said I was ready to go home. at the last second I grabbed Sophie's arm so we left together. When we got to the Shores of Solace, Sophie got that adorable angry look she gets whenever I do something stupid. She is so cute. I can't believe she likes me.

Sophie was saying something. I wasn't really listening. I was too busy looking at her. She poked me. "Keefe, were you listening?" I decided to tell the truth. "No. I was too busy looking at you." She blushed. "I was saying, I should tell Grady and Edaline about us." "Grady? He's gonna kill me." Even if it meant getting attacked by Grady, I would do anything for her.  "Fiiiiinnnnneeee."

She blushed and said "Oh, also that other thing I was saying, do you want to finish what we started earlier?" I blushed. "Anything for you." She leaned in and went on her tiptoes. I leaned down and pressed my lips against hers.  She pulled away a little too fast for my taste. "Why are you the one who always pulls away?" I teased. "You just got yourself into a comptition, Lord Hunkyhair." She leaned in and kissed me. I kissed her back. She kissed me even harder. I didn't pull away, no matter what. On impulse I pick her up and carry her to my bed. I somehow lie down while simultaneously kissing Sophie. Then a book falls down from the shelf. If lands right between our faces, splitting us apart. "Those are some interesting emotions, Foster." I smirked. Sophie grumbled. "Empaths!"
