"So what happened to your face?" Dream said, sounding nonchalant.
George looked up from where he had been watching a group of people play extreme truth or dare to look at him. "Oh this?" He lightly brushed his healing cut, "It's nothing."
"Doesn't look like nothing. Who did it?" There wasn't the assumption that George had accidentally cut himself there and it was an odd determination.
"Nobody important, Sapnap had it covered." George stood abruptly from his chair and waved for Dream to follow him. "Come on, let's play that game over there. Looks fun." And without waiting for an answer, he walked over to the group in the living room.
"Riley!! Join us!" George glanced over to see Punz waving him over. He smiled and hurried to take a seat next to the man.
"Long time no see." He greeted, giving George a wide grin.
"I know right?" George returned the action and situated his body to sit criss-cross.
Dream appeared beside him, squeezing in to sit between him and a random dude. "This looks like a nightmare." He complained under his breath.
"What? Scared?" George taunted playfully.
Dream rolled his eyes, giving George a light shove that sent the brunette almost into Punz's lap. It brought a few laughs to the circle, alerting the rest of their entrance.
"Ooooo the lovebirds are coming to play."
"We got the perfect dare for ya'll."
"No mercy for those two."
George nervously smiled, not ready for that much attention all at once and Dream seemed equally off put.
Fundy, who must have just taken a turn, spoke up over the taunts, "Alright, settle down. I got a banger truth and dare for Dream."
The smirk the man had plastered over his mouth sent shivers of unease down George's spine. Maybe extreme truth and dare WAS something to be nervous about.
The buzz from the drinks he had had tingled under his skin and washed false comforts over his worries. Live a little, they buzzed through tremors of vibrations.
And he listened.
"Truth or dare Dream?"
"Truth." Dream said cowardly.
Groans of complaints rang out from everybody in the circle and Dream bashfully rubbed the back of his neck. Fundy looked equally bummed out, but a few moments of thought brushed the disappointment entirely away. He grinned.
"Are you.." The redhead paused, sending a glance at George before continuing, "Are you and Riley really dating?" He deadpanned.
George did a double take. "What kind of a question is that?" He blurted out before he could stop himself.
A chorus of agreement sounded from a few of the participants but Fundy shushed them all. "He has to answer. Or he has to do an extreme dare."
What a fucking weirdo. George fumed. He sent a glare at the man but he was entirely focused on reading Dream's body language as the question simmered in the air before them all.
"Of course I am. Like Riley said, what kind of a question is that?" Dream said angrily.
George furrowed his brow at him. Was he only acting mad? It was totally possible Dream and Fundy were going behind his back and doing things he had no idea about. It's not like Dream and him were really dating.
"I'm just saying." Fundy said, innocently shrugging. He sat down before gesturing for Dream to take his turn.
But Dream looked rather pissed off as he turned to a random person and mumbled a "truth or dare?"
