FLASHBACK

" Haerin! Congratulations!" Professor Hwang greets, as she eventually gave her a sweet smile.

" Professor Hwang. Thank you so much for helping me getting this award, I'm sure my mom would be really proud to me." She thanked her coach and as her Professor too.

Haerin participated in skating event, her cousins says she's good with it. Her mother figured that she has a talent of skating, so her mom sent her to training club.

And thankfully, she has a Professor in their school who's also leading a skating trainee. She's beyond grateful that she met Hwang Yeji and became her coach for almost a month.

And she won the gold medal.

While walking the alleyway inside the event and scanning her medal admiringly, she felt a pair of hands stops her shoulder as she figured out who's the person behind her back.

It was Danielle.

Her opponent.

She knows how Danielle badly wanted to win the gold medal yet she have this and for the older, she doesn't deserve to claimed such a reward.

She looked at her shyly and confused at the same time, she doesn't know why Danielle gave her this reaction.

" You're such a tricky, Kang Haerin." She felt the annoyance on Danielle's voice when she said those words.

" W-what?"

" Do you really think I don't know? you shouldn't be having that gold medal on your neck, you don't deserve any of it."

She was taken aback of what she heard, being a sentimental isn't a flex. It suddenly shed her into tears. It's heart breaking, she did her best to won. And yet someone says negatively to her achievements.

" You wouldn't claim that medal if it wasn't for Professor Hwang, we all knows you're such a bad skater." Tears continuously rolling down on her cheeks as Danielle looked at her enviously.

" You're a teacher pet, don't forget that Kang Haerin."

The last words literally hits her heart, her world crashed as she felt her chest getting tighten and becoming hard to breathe.

She just did her best and she never considered herself as a good skater, she just tried to won the gold medal and it's accidentally at all. She just did her freaking best.

She felt all the confidence that she have literally blown away at this moment, she removed the gold medal from her neck and threw it somewhere else.

She ran outside with the tears on her eyes, she was really hurts. As as she exited, her Professor Hwang saw her in that state.

Hwang Yeji came to her immediately, as she approached her worriedly.

" Oh gosh, what happened?" Yeji asked carrying her back, as Haerin won't stop crying.

" N-nothing, Professor Hwang. I-i'm just happy." She lied, she made her Professor thinks that it was just a tears of joy when it's actually not.

" I'm worried about you, I thought something might happened that's why you're crying like that." Yeji chuckles nervously, as Haerin gave her a bitter smile.

" Stop crying Haerin, I'm so proud of you." She embraced her student, Haerin is introverted. She knows that, but she's talented.

After a minutes that she's with her Professor, Hwang Yeji even takes her to the restaurant so she could celebrate her achievements and also to stops her from crying.

" Did you enjoyed the food? do you want some desserts, Haerin-ah?" But again, she just smiled quietly and shook her head.

" You helped me a lot, Professor Hwang. It's enough, I'm already full." She answered, but then Yeji took out something in her bag as she handed it to Haerin.

" Claimed it, I have a lot in my house though." She smiled and gladly accepted the chocolates that Yeji gave to her.

" Thank you. "

Professor Hwang already lead her to her house, as they bid goodbyes to each other. That somewhat makes Haerin smiled a bit, she's grateful to her Professor.

After what happened, Hwang Yeji becomes her favorite Professor but sadly, she's not their adviser anymore when she finally stepped in her Junior high life.

But she's still grateful that she got to spend those precious time with her Professor Hwang.

And when the events was over, she will always made her way to the school again. All alone, with an earphones on her ears again.

As the year passes by, all she felt was nothing but to feel numb on her surroundings. Whenever a thought of that girl Danielle's words echoing in her mind. She wouldn't realized that she would clenched her fists so bad while thinking of her name.

It replaced by hatred, Danielle ruined her confidence. And she will always looked down on her feet while walking around these people and now she hated it.

She once saw Danielle with her friends, she was so mad that she could confront her in front of everyone. But she also thinks it was already a long time ago and it has nothing to do with her anymore.

She's mad and she will forever stayed mad at Danielle.

She ruined everything about Haerin and that's the reason why she hated Danielle until now.

She promise herself she wouldn't look the same at her anymore. She would always give her a death glare and will not regret about it.

Danielle never regret saying those words though, then why would she regret doing this?

She almost befriended with her when she saw her for the first time in the event and she would never realized that Danielle is cruel and has a bad attitude.

Everyone known that girl Danielle as a respectful and gorgeous girl in the campus and for now. She might be the only one who's disagreeing with that. Unless they encounter the girl's attitude.
