" Kim Minji. "

Minji stops on her spot as she shut her eyes before facing the girl behind her.

She raised an eyebrow, stared at the girl nonchalantly.

" What, Hyein? "

Hyein walked towards her, hands on her pocket while watching her feets stepping to Minji's direction.

" Seriously, when will you stop denying me to your friends? "

Minji stared at her blankly, as she looked away.

" I'm not. "

" You do. "

" Then why do you care? "

" I'm your cousin! "

Minji rolled her eyes in irritation.

" What am I supposed to do, Hyein? don't tell me what to do. "

She was ready to walk away and won't look back at her anymore.

" Is that how desperate you are? "

Minji suddenly stops from leaving, anger rising within her.

" Who gave you the rights to insult me with that words? "

Hyein shut her mouth immediately.

Minji clenched her fists, coming to her direction with the wrath on her eyes.

" You. How desperate you are, Hyein. How desperate you are to become Hanni's girlfriend? "

Hyein swallowed the lump on her throat when she saw the tears that currently forming on Minji's eyes.

She's mad.

" You knew that I like her since in the first place.. what did you do? you stole her away from me. "

Minji gritted her teeth when she says those words.

" You don't have a heart with that.. "

" M-minji.. "

" Don't even tell me what to do, Hyein. You love pretending right? then do it right now, pretend that we don't know each other. "

And that, she turned around with that heavy feeling on her chest as she walked away and never look back at her cousin.

Hyein exhaled really hard, she's guilty of what she have done. Minji was the only person she could run to whenever she gets into bad days and now, it's over.

Tears continuously fell into her cheeks, their solid bond fell apart because of that one girl.

This is just not the first time she did it to Minji, there's so many things that she simply took away from her but Minji is just too good and generous person. She let it all happened and prioritized Hyein's happiness first before hers.

She gave it all to Hyein and now, she just wished this one thing for her happiness.. but instead, Hyein stole it away from her again and Minji had enough already.

Hyein grabs her bag, exiting on Minji's house as she ran outside, still wiping her own tears away.

It's getting hard for her, she can't lose her cousin like that.

She stops on her spot, threw her bag as she screamed in pain.

She fell on her knees, as she cried continuously. She doesn't care if anyone in this village sees her in this state.

" Hey? " She quieted her sobs down when she heard someone behind her.

" Are you okay? " She wiped her own tears away sarcastically and shifted her gaze on the girl who's now levelling her.
