Dear Diary

I am writting from my hometown in Mexico. I hadn't written in a long time due that a lot of things had happened in my life and I was in sort of depression. Well I will tell you from the beginning.

After Chris ended the call and told the whole world that I was just his best friend and that nothing was going on between us. He saw me with tears in my eyes, since I found out that they were not going to renew my contract and that I have to go back to Mexico since my working visa was going to be expired.

"Baby.. what's wrong?" He said as he grab me and placed me on his lap. I hid my face in his chest and he stroke my hair.

"What is wrong?" He said softly.

"I have to go back to Mexico. Due to the scandal, the program won't renew the contract and my working visa will expired." I said between sobs. He stood quiet for a while and then he whispered in my ear.

"For how long?" He asked.

"For as long as they hired me back. It could take weeks, months or even years" I said looking at his blue eyes that now had a sad look on them. He kissed me and then he hugged me tight.

"There has to be another way. You can't leave me. " He said kissing my hair.

"I'm sorry.." I said.

"No! I'm the one that should be sorry. They shouldn't do that just because of me. Just because we fell in love. I'm going to talk to them. I will tell them to give you your job back." He said standing up and walking aroun the room.

"I don't think that is possible. But is okay. I could get a tourist visa and visit. And you can visit as well. " I said smiling a little.

"But you won't live with me" He said with his eyes red, almost in tears.

"I know..." I said in his arms. He hugged me tight and we stayed like this for a long time. It felt like almost hours.

"Marry me..." He said.

"What?" I asked in shock not believing that I heard correctly.

"Marry me. If you marry a US citizen, they can't throw you out of the country." He said with hope in his eyes.

"But you just have told the world that we are just friends and that there is nothing going on between us." I said. He grab my face and kissed me.

"I don't care, I want you by my side." He said. I started to walk away a little too in shock.

"But we can't get married just like that. There is a migration progress that we have to do. and-" I said as I looked at him and he had the biggest smile in his face.

"What?" I said smiling a little as well.

"So... you will marry me?" He asked.

"Yes" I said and he grab me and spun me around kissing me deeply.

"You will be my wife and we will have a wonderful family. A big family! We will live in Boston. My mother will be so happy. She already loves you." He said between kisses.

"Woah! Hold on! We still have to get marry, but... you still on the movie tour, which means we have to wait a little. I'll go to Mexico and then when you are ready, I'll be there waiting for you" I said.

"You will wait for me?" He said.

"Always" I said and he kissed me. That is why it was a shock to me when I heard the news and he confirmed it.

I was in Mexico for a couple of months, Chris had called me almost every single day calling me his future wife and calling me Mrs. Evans. He even send me a screenshot with my name changed as Mrs. E and a heart. But then he stopped calling me, and when I called him, he would tell me he was busy. he stopped calling me Mrs. Evans and love, he started calling me Lucy.

I was working at home, when my brother came and asked me if I was still dating Chris. I said yes  and then he said that there was a rumor going on.  A private photo that was around internet. He showed me  the photo and it looked like Chris. With his tatoos. And there was also a women in his side, she had a moon tatoon in her wrist. They were in a bed.  I was a bit in a shock.

"But is fake, right?" my brother asked.

"Yes" I simply said.  But deep in my soul I knew it was real because in the photo I could see a crystal flower that was in  the background.  I bought that flower in a festival and gave it to Chris. That was a detail which noone knew about.  That was the thing that broke my heart.  They were in his bedroom, in the bed that we shared a lot of nights. The bed that we made love. The bed he promised noone was going to sleep in, except me. He promised! He broke his promise.

I called him but he didn't pick up. But someone did, Ana. which made my blood boil.

"Hello?" She said.

"Hello, Can I talk to Chris?" I asked not wanting to talk to her. I think she noticed my anger that she gave the phone to Chris.

"Lucy." He said.

"Is it true? Is the photo in internet true. You slept with Ana?" I asked.

"Yes." He just simply said. I started sobbing and crying.

"Why?" I asked.

"I'm sorry." He whispered.

"Why?" I asked again.

"I can't explain. I'm sorry. I'm trully sorry" He said.

"I was waiting for you." I said.

"I know... I'm sorry. You will find someone who trully deserves you and won't hurt you as much as I did. I really hope you have a happy life. You deserve the best Lucy. Bye" He said as he hang up. I swear I heard his voice crack. Did he wanted to marry me? Was he afraid of marrying me? But he looked like he did loved me and wanyed to marry me. That made me cry and being in depression for a couple of months.

That is why I took a long time for me to write again. So now, my dream of marrying my best friend was over. He didn't love me and I just have to see him through a screen and try to make my life again.
