The Tears Heals

A crisp air brushed against his ears, tickling his pale skin. His hair blew along with it, adjusting itself with the wind. Izuku's eyes fluttered, welcoming a blue sky with clouds of puff. The grass beneath him flicked across his skin. A sense of Deja vu occurred as he sat up.

Except, there were no trees.

Only grass stretched across the land. For miles, a field of grass could be seen with nothing else. Almost like the screensaver, Hitoshi has on his computer. The grass wasn't tall, only going up to his ankles, like grass in backyards.

His hair blew as he stood, as though it was a flag. It flew with the wind in a straight line, right behind him. From his view, he could tell how long his hair was. It stretched across the grass, ending at the point of mist. A thin mist stretched across the border of the land, looking like it was the finish point of the world. Except, it was just his vision. He couldn't see that far.

A small squeak from behind made him stop his frantic search for anything but grass. He spotted a green rabbit.

He wasn't alone.

In a patch of grass, a green rabbit stared back at him.

The same bunny he saw previously.

"Hey," Izuku greeted, crouching down, presenting a hand. The bunny twiddled its nose, sniffing the air. It moved jerkily, etching closer to his hand. At the point of contact, Izuku's hand jumped. The softness of its coat was surprisingly gentle. It brushed against his skin, tickling him. The grass tickling his bare feet was a soft tickle.

The bunny leaned into his hand, bucking him when he held pressure on its head. Izuku laughed, continuing to pet its back, though careful to not touch the head. Taking a look around, he wondered if there were more rabbits.

Surely the rabbit came from somewhere- most likely its home.

Perhaps if he could follow the rabbit to its home, he could find others living in the grassy field. Maybe a town of sorts.

At least something other than him and the rabbit.

His eyes stopped on a wooden object a few metres away. Even at a distance, Izuku could easily see it. White peaked out from the base, and the wooden stem had a grey grip. Anyone could tell it was a brush. But only Izuku could tell it was his brush.

"What's it doing here?" Izuku pondered, stepping to grab the brush, sliding a finger along the wooden scratches.

A poke against his heel made him look down. The rabbit was trying to get his attention. "What's wrong?" He crouched down, facing the creature with the brush in his hand.

The rabbit bolted as it jerked to the side. Izuku gasped as he observed it move. He ran like a madman after it in a sprint. His hair, thank God for the wind, blew elegantly. The brush was long forgotten, lying on the grassy surface.

Izuku hardly got the chance to look up and observe a cottage. Izuku turned to avoid nearly colliding with the side wall. He took a step back as his heart throbbed with panic. He saw the door.

His door.

The door to the house.

His house.

He found the cottage.

Izuku jerked his head around. Nothing was around the cottage except grass. It was like someone spawned it like a video game.

He stared. It felt like an eternity had passed since he saw it.

A pull from his pant leg made him jump.
