Chapter 8

"Young master" Nunew turn his head to the side as a maid get near him. "What is it?"

"Would you like to have a tea party? We the servants always have it every evening around 3" She offer him.

"Is that a casual thing here?" Nunew tilt his head

"Ohhh not really, we only do that whenever the Lord and First Lady not around. It is like our leisure time, since we can't have a day of rest at all"

"Why not? So you mean to say all of you who works here never have a day off from work?"

"That's true ,young master" the maid low her head in shame.

"That's so cruel" Nunew furrow his brow together thinking of the maids and servants health conditions from lack of rest.

"No it is not cruel young master,this is our job anyway"

"But still-"

"We're all in good hand" The maid insisted and Nunew nod his head not wanting to get in their business.

"I should get to my room for now, you all should enjoy your tea party then. Thank you for the offer but I can't join you. Maybe another time I will"

"Have a good rest young master" The maid take her leave as Nunew also stand on his feet to walk inside the left wing chamber.

"It's been two weeks now huh. Time sure pass so fast" Nunew sit on the cushion making himself comfortable there.

A tittle thump on the wooden floor is heard by him as the small body flung itself on his lap. " Baba!"

Risha excitedly call for him as Nunew pick him up and let the kid settle on his lap. "Hey baby"

Nunew listen to his babble as Risha tell him about his day. "...and madam Geena is there too"

"Hmmm?Who is that?" Nunew ask the kid.

"Nana said she is my protector?"

"Ahhh" Nunew nodded his head. She must be the witch Zee talk about before.

"Do you always meet her?" Nunew try to get to know Risha better by continuing their conversation.

"Yes,Ri always meet her. Everyday" As he show all ten of his finger to Nunew as if telling him that there is none of when he didn't meet the witch.

"Risha, every time you meet Geena what did she do to you?"

"Geena let me sleep in a middle of a black table and once I wake up all my pain is long gone"

Risha look up confused as why Nunew want to know alot of what happens. Nunew usually would only be a good listener.

"Baba wanna meet her?" Risha ask.

"Can I?" Nunew question.

"I don't know too. Let's ask for Dada permissions?"

"Okay I'll ask Dada later tonight"

"Yeayy"

Risha clap his hand and hug Nunew tightly. His tiny nose attaches to Nunew's bare neck to seek comfort.

"Shhh you can take a short nap. You did so well for today" Nunew softly pat Risha back to lull him and indeed his breath slow down to a normalcy as the kid close both eyes humming along Nunew.

"You did so well, Risha" Nunew suddenly feels suffocated as he imagined how hard it is for this small child to endure a lot of pain from young age. Risha doesn't even know what the cause is but he take it all like an adult. Nunew really envy his strong and brave personality.

"I wish I could take all his pain away and let my power goes to him if I do have any" Nunew whisper as a lonely tears fall down his cheek.

And that's how Zee find both of them, still sleeping soundly in each other strong hold.

Zee try to let go off Nunew's arm from the grasp but the younger refuses to even in his sleep. He whine lowly and cuddle Risha tighter.

He end up carrying both to the bed bridal style thanks to his bulging muscle. Zee tuck them under the sheet and let them have their rest.

He walk out of the room and didn't forget to close the door behind him.

"Tell the maid to heat up the food once they're awake. Leave them be for now"

Zee goes down to the dining table and eat his dinner alone. He does feel a little empty not seeing the two. He might never admit this but Zee do get this longing sometimes when looking at the great relationship between Nunew and Risha as if they have known each other for a long time now.

Even on the first day world traveler Mark bring Nunew inside the chamber, Risha can't seem to let the sleeping figure out of his sight. The instant click between them frighten Zee a little as he knows Nunew is not staying here temporarily.

Once he's look into and over by the Mage, it is up to him if he wanted to stay or not since Zee can't force him to. Nunew is only there to save Risha and lend him Florelle power but if indeed Nunew didn't inherit Florelle magical power at all, then by what mean does Zee have in holding him here like a prisoner.
