Chapter 12

Nunew walk to the dining area. His feet dragging him in force since Zee asked for his presence there joining the married couple eating breakfast.

"Good Morning" He greet them before taking a seat.

"I heard that you're spending a lot of time taking care of Risha?" Yaya turn her attention to him.

Nunew nodded his head. "He's getting better. His body temperature begin to go down"

"That's good to hear" Zee add.

Nunew eat in silent as Yaya and Zee have their own conversation about business planning and such. He finished quickly and announced his leave but Zee stop him halfway. " I'll visit your chamber tonight"

Nunew answer a short "Okay"

Yaya raise her eyebrows looking at her husband with a questioning eyes. She waited until Nunew is out of the place before nudging Zee's arm to get an answer.

"What's with that?"

"What?" Zee fold his arm to the chest.

"You going to his room. It that a normal things between you both now?" Yaya draw a knowing smile as she playfully goes near Zee's personal space.

"Non of your business. What's wrong with you" Zee push her head to escape from the eagle eyes.

"tchh...you are so stingy, Zee" Yaya huff not getting any answer out of the male's mouth.

Right around 12 midnight, Zee went to Nunew's room and find the younger laying asleep on the bed. He thought of leaving the male alone but the weak whine coming from the younger catch his ears as he turn abruptly and went to the side of Nunew's bed.

"Hey, Nunew are you okay" Zee let his palm stay unmoved on the male's shoulder.

Nunew is sweating bucket while in his deep sleep and that ignited a restless Zee.

"Your skin is burning up. Let's go to my room" Zee pick him up along the thin sheet around the younger and walk to his chamber. The short trip seem so far in his mind as Zee increase his pace.

"We're here" He tell the sleeping Nunew even though he knows the younger probably couldn't hear him at all.

"Call for the physicians" He give out an order to his butler. While waiting for someone to come, Zee went to take a clean water in a big bowl and fresh towel dangling on his shoulder.

"Up" Zee strip him down leaving Nunew only with his undergarment. Wiping the sweat away all around his body, Zee let him rest as he pull up the sheets covering Nunew's body from getting exposed.

The physician rush into the room from the sudden order of his presence by Lord Zee.

"Look at his condition. Beware from using magic, he's not like one of us" Zee reprimand that person.

"I will try my best,Lord Zee"

The physician's hold out his hand to open the sheet but feels the sudden cold behind him.

"He's not dress properly, keep your hand out of that area" Zee's voice seems to scare the male as he retract quickly and only goes for the head and mouth of the younger.

"He's having a high fever, he might get it from someone nearby but it is not severe. Lord Zee, I have some prescriptions for him to take for a few days. I'll see myself out for now, inform me anytime if you need my assistance again"

The male physician take his leave out of the door that closed behind him after. Zee let out a heavy sigh looking at the pale young man on the side of his bed.

"I should have told you not to stay with Risha, it's my fault"

Nunew is the king of stubbornness. Zee is having a hard time getting the younger to eat his congee. Nunew keep on turning his head away from the spoon Zee is holding. The younger is too weak to hold anything let alone eat anything, Zee is really worried about his worsening condition that the older have to take a day leave from work to take care of Nunew.

"Please just this once" Zee even going far to beg him to eat but still didn't work out.

"Oh please, stop trying to avoid me" Zee catch his chin in a strong hold Nunew can't escape from.

"Now don't be stubborn with me. Open your mouth" Zee will do it if he have go to as far as to force feed the younger.

Nunew eventually open his mouth, eyes stabbing dagger on Zee's figure in front of his. His head must be cursing on Zee with different words he could have think of at the moment but the older just didn't care.

"Good" He compliments Nunew as if he's a small child finally obeying words from Zee. Right after the eight's spoon, Nunew begin to whine and turn his face to the side not wanting anymore of the bland food.

"Alright no more" Zee put the bowl down to the side and watch Nunew getting comfortable on the large bed of his.

"You are yet to take your medicine,Nunew" The younger look up at him and roll his eyes.

"No need. I'll get better in a few days" Nunew close his eyes.

"This is an order,not a request" Zee pull him up by the shoulder and Nunew have the audacity to fight him back.

"I said no!" Nunew struggle on the tight hold.

"Looks like you get your energy back a little I see" Zee chuckle under his breath holding himself up quite skilfully.

"Let me go,Zee" Nunew push on his chest and arm to get away.

"Take your pills and I'm letting you go" Zee insisted.

"You're so....stubborn" Nunew grit his teeth getting annoyed.

"Talking about yourself?" Zee grin

"Nmmmm" Nunew hold his teeth tightly but Zee always have his way.

"You really going to be this way? Alright"

Zee pinch the younger nose blocking his airway so he would breath using his mouth and that's the green light for him to throw in the pills and let the younger swallow it.

It did actually work for the putting pills into his mouth but Nunew didn't swallow it. He let the tablets stay on his tongue in challenge to Zee.

Zee having no choice but to force the water down from his mouth as a payback to the naughty Nunew. The younger swallow the pills down his throat and he's mad MAD.

"Why do you have to go so far" Nunew hit the muscular chest repeatedly in anger. His face burn from embarrassment by what happened between them but no words can describe how their unexpected kiss does not disgust him even a little bit. Same goes for Zee who's been stunned by his own brave actions towards the younger.
