Dreams[zeenunew]

Chapter 11

Clearly Nunew take a liking on ruining Zee's peaceful night work as he often visited with a late night snack.  Same goes for tonight too, Nunew demanded him to join the younger to a cup of warm milk and few pieces of chocolate brownies.

"Oh come on Zee. Your work can wait but the hot milk can't" Nunew nudge his shoulder whilst Zee try not to be distracted signing the paper on the desk.

"Just wait for a minutes, I'll join you after" Zee didn't left his eyesight on the stack of files in the middle of his work desk that must be done by tonight.

"Fine" Nunew pull a face once he can't convince Zee to leave his chair.

Nunew wait and keep on waiting patiently but Zee yet to finish his task and to an extent where the drinks begin to turn cold and untouched.

Once he's at his last paper for the day, Zee look up and find Nunew fast asleep on the cushion. His body turn into an uncomfortable position but the younger didn't show his discomfort while sleeping so soundly.

The male stand on his feet to the side of said sleeping Nunew. "Why didn't you eat it first and leave the others for me"

Zee chuckle under his breath. Shaking his head looking at the younger, Zee hold him up by the arm and walk out of his office with Nunew in his embrace. Leaving the food and drinks behind to be clean by the maid early in the morning.

He sometimes hear the younger whine under his breath as the sound around the place reach his ears disturbing his calmness.

Once Zee reach his chamber, Zee slide Nunew down to the big bed on the left side while he take the right side making himself ready to sleep.He cover both of them nicely to avoid the coldness of the night before soon fall into dreamland.

Nunew wakes to an unfamiliar large room. The knock on the close door startled him.

"Come in" Nunew expects to see the maids but not their shocking face. They stop dead on their track seeing Nunew sitting on the bed in his sleepy state.

"Don't mind me,please continue your task" Nunew smile seeing them walk around cleaning the room and replace a few freshly clean towels alongside changing the bedsheets.

"I'm gonna go, I can't hinder your work by staying here" Nunew excuse himself out but the maids begin to perplexed when he take a step after another towards the door.

"Young master, we didn't mean for you to feel out of place while we do our jobs. To be honest we're all so shocked by your presence here in this room" The maid named Aprene apologise to him.

"Who's room is this?" Nunew ask.

"Master Zee chamber" And so Nunew widened his eyes.

"Oh if so I probably should go back to my room" Nunew quickly leave even though the maid try to stop him.

"I didn't......we didn't do anything right? Last night I was probably fast sleeping" but still Nunew can't hide the worry on his face.

"You stupid, that was so embarrassing. How could you fell asleep just like that in front of Zee" Nunew slap his forehead face burning from shyness.

"Now I can't even face him without shaming myself" seating on his room, Nunew sigh out loud.

That evening, Nunew is aware of the disappearance of Risha. He ask Nana about the kid and she informed him that Risha is having a mild fever and have been staying in his room for a while now.

The kid is weaker than ever and he can't go out of his for now by the order from Zee himself. Nunew pity the kid and decided to give him a visit later.

He did visit him sooner than Nunew have expected. He really can't stay long without seeing Risha since Nunew already considered Risha as his child or someone dear to him.

"Hey baby, you did so well" Nunew kiss his forehead and feel the warmth from the kid's body temperature.

"Baba" Risha call him with his weak voice.

"I know, a little more and we're done" Nunew encourage his to finish the congee.

Risha humm accepting the food to his mouth even when he doesn't have the appetite to eat or drink anything. But Baba is there for him and feeding him food so Risha have to eat it or Baba will feel sad. Risha didn't want to disobey Baba.

"Risha, baby" Nunew let a lone tears fall from his eyes as he pull the kid to his chest.

"Hurt" The kid silently cry along with Nunew as he can feel his sadness.

"I know, Risha going to be okay. Believe in Baba" Nunew promise the child calming him down.

"Don't cry Baba, Risha don't like seeing Baba cry" The child whine mumbling on Nunew neck.

"Okay Baba will stop crying now so Risha also have to stop" Nunew take the small face in his palm and give it a butterfly kiss.

He then let their forehead touch as both close their eyes in the moment of silence.

"I love you, Baba" Risha suddenly voice out.

Nunew of course is taken aback by the confession from the child but he gave out the sweetest smile in return.

"I love you too, Risha" Nunew shower him with a peck on the soft pair of cheeks, showing his affectionate side only for Risha to see.
